You're right that Spartacus might not be for everyone; you need to be a fan of movies like "300" and "Sin City". Always wanted to start with Treme as well. It had one of the most gross things ive ever seen on tv but it was done in such a way i nearly blew a fuse it was so funny! Then again Bo Selecta is another of my favourite shows. I also like Blue Bloods, about 3 generations of a family in the NYPD. For me Marchlands was a bit of an anti climax ..... Loved Mad Dogs.
