Steve_E
Lots of good performances. Anyone of Osman, Pienaar, Baines, Mirallas and Barry could have gotten in today. Went with Barry.
Peter H
Gave it to Pienaar. The team wasnt the same when he came off. Nice to see that he is back on form. Very important imo
Droobie
Barry... Consistent for the whole match with a goal.

duncanmckenzieismagic
I thought it was Mirallas best game for a while, Stones looked so assured , Barry and McCarthy were both superb and if any of the Piennar knockers still dont realise what he brings to the table you only have to look at the way the game changed when he went off. But I thought Jags put in a Rolls Royce of a performance today so gave it to him
Cornish Steve
Stones looked so assured I don't agree. With Alcaraz alongside, he looked assured. Today, he looked vulnerable. markjazzbassist, marcus jones and Aidan
Mirallas
I didn't really pay attention to everyone's individual efforts, I thought Howard had a great game, as did Mirallas and Stones. Jags, Lukaku, Baines, Pienaar, Osman and Coleman did their parts as well. Who's my MOTM? I think Barry would be a fair answer.
marcus jones
Super Kev for me, scored a beauty but some crap shots as well. Some wayward passing at times but also lovely skill. What swung it for me was the fact he ran back 60 yards at full speed to retrieve the ball that someone else gave away, that requires grit and determination and guts not to give up. EFC-Paul
A toss up between Barry and Pienaar but went with Barry although others were not far behind those two.
StevO
Barry was brilliant, but I wanted to vote for John Stones. The only goals we have conceded since he came in has been a penalty and a bit of a worldy, exceptional talent.

JoeQuince
I'm with Cornish Steve on Stones having a poor game today. He allowed Hooper that great chance early on, played Van Wolfswinkel onside for a good chance and misjudged a few other things. He did make a few great, composed plays though to make up for it. I'm thinking maybe some of these issues come down to Jags not being the best partner for him. marcus jones

Stones has fucked up at least once in every game so its nothing to do with Jags He is a young defender learning his trade mistakes are bound to happen but I thought over all he looked good again today, still its all about opinions I suppose

But, if Hooper and Van Wolfswinkel hadn't choked, nobody would be giving him a pass for these fuck ups. All things considered, I think he's doing really well though. Watching him with Alcaraz vs him with Jags, he just looked far less comfortable today.

Cornish Steve
And considering he's coming up from the youth ranks, he's playing extremely well. Every player makes mistakes. What matters is how we learn from them. This was an excellent game for Stones to play in. He'll only get better.
StevO
He still hasnt made a mistake anywhere near the Howard/Osman mistake in the Sunderland game, and they both have ten years experience on him. The kids doing fine, I don't see any other teenage centre half pulling up trees in the premier league.
efc1111
I thought Mirallas had his best game for a while, Baines looks to be getting back to form, and Pienaar showed some great movement and touches - mainly in the first half - but it's Barry by a long way for me. Midfield masterclass.
