  1. Woah. Jelavic benched. Lets see what happens here. Heits/Neville in mid or right back? What's their deal tonight? I'm assuming Neville in mid, as is custom these days.
  2. I'm putting this on Twente's chairman being a total crackpot dickbag. He's the idiot holding his player prisoner. Accept your player's bum knee and let the deal be restructured a bit, or lose him later for less money, injury or not.
  3. Sounds to me like Twente's chairman is a fucking basketcase. But, in the end, if he doesn't do something unforeseen and crazy, Fer is an Everton player come tonight, doing the halftime walk out and all that jazz.
  4. Truth is you never know what the future holds for any player when it comes to injuries. Some players play on what has been a bad knee for years without ever losing significant time. While some players, perfectly healthy, go out and get a nice triple leg break and never get back to where they were. I think we're just trying to get a better deal/save our asses in the long run, especially since we are borrowing against funds that don't exist as of yet.
  5. I would love to have him here, as long as he stays in the box. He seems a Jelavic type though, and with our play not fitting a target man at present, I fear we would ruin him.
  6. ^ what Matt said. Ball was dinking around in the penalty box, not being cleared, and he crushed it in. (that's what it sounded like on the radio broadcast)
  7. Fellaini, as I don't feel we are utilizing him in the role he's best at; he will bring big money; and we can utilize that to bolster several areas of our squad that need improvement. Between Baines and Fellaini, I think--attacking wise--that Baines has a more positive influence on our play. Fellaini is great in his natural role, but doesn't influence the attacking side of the game much from there. And, in the more advanced role, he does influence the attack, but in a way that is really grinding my gears at the moment. We'll get more from selling Felli and lose less from selling Felli. (I think I've definitely already come to terms with losing him)
  8. Gave it to Timmy. I should also point out that it's probably a bad sign when your striker's top highlights from a match were the two defensive stops he made.
  9. This hoofing has to fucking end. I can't watch us play this type of game. I'd rather watch a video of my own birth.
  10. Jesus Christ, Jelavic. Come on.
  11. Fellaini showing class tonight. But I'm sick of our play revolving around him. Completely stifles our creative side.
  12. Can this fucking match start already? Feels like we haven't played in forever.
  13. Somebody does it to almost every player we get linked with too. Somebody else will correct it quickly enough.
  14. Osman's technical skills > Coleman's technical skills. There really shouldn't be a debate there. I'm not one to shower praise on Osman, as he frustrates the shit out of me most of the time. But, I have that frustration precisely because he is so technically gifted, yet wastes perfectly good chances that many peoples' grandmothers could put in the back of the net. That said, I don't think Gatt would be expensive at all. Probably a negligible fee, considering he's coming from the Norwegian league and hasn't really made much of a name for himself yet. I would assume he'd cost us £1-1.5m tops. Yet, for a player with a lot of potential upside on our weak right side (when Mirallas is injured), it would be an excellent buy.
  15. Just occurred to me that maybe we weren't watching Forren at Molde, but were watching Josh Gatt, a young American international who plays on the right wing. He's starting to come into his own, and could be a great squad guy for us. I do see big things for this kid. What do my fellow Americans think?
  16. I'd sure want to sign for a club that just sacked its manager for basically no reason whatsoever. Glad to hear this guy has a good head on his shoulders.
  17. Would love to see this happen. We would probably end up playing him on the right wing though.
  18. Maybe send Maggie their way to help compensate??? #inmydreams
  19. Soon, hopefully: ^this was on Saturday. Hopefully this 9-day break gives him the right amount of time.
  20. Coleman, as he was the only one who didn't look asleep.

Completely and utterly embarrassing. What a heartless showing. Fuck this lumping it up business. If that's how we use Fellaini and style our game, I'd rather we just sell him and play it along the carpet.
