How in the heck are we rumored to be paying so much for a player on their last year of their contract? That money can definitely be much better spent than Jonny Evans. I'd rather see us throw Galloway in the deep end than pay so much money. Surely we can do better for that price.

I just wish you would give him a tenth of the slack you afford to the likes of Alacraz, Kone, McGeady etc, who provide nothing to the team, to someone who is responsible for 40% of our goals over 2 seasons.

I agree with Btay. Got to keep the likes of Gerry, Rom, Ross, Stones and McCarthy together for as long as possible and bring players in around them. There's potentially £200m worth of players there, if they can all progress. Let's hope we get to see it.

Love his comments about coming home, 2 years ago these young boys we have were probably rated around the most promising of their positions ( Stones, Barkley, Gerry and Rom) let's see them push each other now and kick their development on! Just shows you don't need to spend 60-70 million a window.
