Lost me there because it's plain there's a rant coming . "Apologists" makes the assumption that someone has done something to apologise for....presumably BK....which I don't accept. Unless you want him to apologise for not being a billionnaire (I think he did once didn't he?) . While we're at it, I apologise for not being a billionnaire also . Anyway (my opinion) we've come out of the window with the club in a slightly better position financially and with a stronger squad than we had a year ago. Would have liked another player or two but the quality is certainly moving in the right direction. 8/10 for me....much better than last year.

Think that's a very good point. We don't want (like patto said) players who are purely looking to move for money (and with our structure we're unlikely to get them), and we don't want players who are going to use us as a stepping stone to better (higher paid) things. But we need to be realistic; they all seem to be motivated by money.....and just maybe if we can get them through the door by pointing to J-Low's new pay packet they may just want to come. Then...better players...break top four...massive investment...Champions League winners 2014 . Simple .
