The Twitter discussion around wishing Keane well is absurd. Jags didn’t, nor did Walcott or Tosun. That’s as far as I got, but I’d venture to say the majority of the team who have Twitter didn’t wish him well on the platform either.

Could have done that directly/in person Haf.  No need for that to play out on social media, and no reason for us to assume some slight/callous act on his behalf (not assuming you are).
He may well prefer to move and that's his prerogative.  Although I think that the Leipzig post could very easily just be the kid taking an interest in a team and player he played for/with.  Not everyone's a mischievous Mastermind (footballers less likely than most), and he is still just a 20 year old kid.
He's currently an Everton player, and welcome in my book.  If he goes, I assume we'll get a fair price and wish him good luck.  Then continue to cheer on Everton's upward trajectory.

Seems a pretty simple situation to me. Silva wants him, but the club has a valuation for him. If Leipzig meet that, he goes. If they don't, he stays. Does Lookman want to go? Probably, his dealings with the previous regime probably left a sour taste and hey, he might actually have enjoyed Germany. That is allowed. Does that mean we should sell him for less than our valuation? Don't be daft. 
If he is still an Everton player on Sept 1st, I have no doubt we'll see a very good player emerge under Silva. If he goes, so be it, we'll have made a very tidy profit on him. 

Richarlison obviously, but thought Baines was also very good.  Defense in general was pretty solid.
Might not be a popular opinion but I thought Schneiderlin played a decent game, the best I'd seen from him in awhile.

Hope this one goes through, looks like he'd do well covering back for Mina/Keane.  Looks big, quick, and there's a little "no nonsense" about him.

Wolves are apparently close to signing Dendonker for £12m, from what I've seen of him (which isn'ttt an awful lot) then I think they are about to get a really good signing at that price, would have liked us to move for him

I do hope we can find it in ourselves to give youngsters more of a chance of that than this lad.

Doesn't mean we should sell cheap though.  Despite what some have said about his performances there, he did decently well in the Bundesliga and is only 20.
If £25m is the going rate for a, very good, 21 year old championship player, I'd be disappointed at 20m and downright unhappy at 15m.

Lookman must be told to give it a chance and he must be given a chance. If he doesn't want to be here on one year or if Silva doesn't want him, then let both parties move on then, but he must be convinced and encouraged to stay.

Unless you think Bolasie & Mirallas are good enough/should stay (I don't), we're short competition in that spot.  My only concern is the impact on Lookman, or RB asking for him in trade.

Don’t see what the fuss is all about. Doesn’t pretty much every player ask about playing opportunities when looking at new contracts? That’s what agents are for isn’t it?
Theres a massive difference between asking for opportunities and demanding a place.

This is standard practice, I see it all the time. I would actually worry more if a player wasn’t wanting a chance to prove himself.

Davinson Sanchez was one of the Ajax centrebacks last year.  He moved to Tottenham at the start of the year (for £36m), having just turned 21, and is now starting centreback in a top 3 team.
De Ligt will be 2 years younger (19) at the start of the season, but has played a lot of senior football (including in Europe and National team). 
It certainly is a lot of money, but around the Sanchez mark given; how highly regarded, younger, and continued inflation...
I'd probably be more comfortable going for Jonathan Tah (guessing a lot cheaper) and would have been happy with Issa Diop, but this would be a big coup...
