All very well saying if we could survive another 9 points, it wouldn’t surprise me if they decided it would be more as we’ve been very naughty boys.

I think that’s a good decision, moving mid season would be difficult for the organisational side of the transition, and it will be wonderful to go to BMD in August for our first game there. It’s also good to have the date confirmed now rather than being up in the air.

Played that and could only see Benny Hill running round PL HQ in an Everton strip. Maybe quite effective.
Implying it’s farcical is how I see it.

Pffft, The Echo can’t get things right, one bit says Holgate left in January window, one bit says the summer.
To save everyone’s valuable time don’t bother clicking to read its regurgitated shite.

From watching that I can’t see it happening.
If 777 or Moshiri don’t put up more money we go in administration, and our value drops, Moshiri doesn’t get as much when he sells, and the buyer ( whoever it turns out to be) gets a team that is in all probability in the second tier. It’s in both parties interests to work a deal to get us over the line.

Looks like he’s ahead of Danjuma now
I hope that he can forge his way ahead, Danjuma has done little to impress me so far, granted little chance, but it seems the same wherever he goes, and given our financial restrictions, Lewis could be ideal, not to mention a home grown talent, which the Goodison faithful love.

I’d like to see him get more game time progressively during the rest of the season.

We’ve played 4 games since the points deduction was applied, I don’t think anyone predicted or even hoped we would be 4 points above the drop zone in such a short space of games.
Theres no way we would have done the same 12 months ago, and while the football is a bit hoof ball at times, which is necessary and a safety first approach, we are also playing some really nice stuff. I hope Dyche can keep the momentum and the players stay fit or don’t burn out. As things stand he must be the front runner for manager of the month.

Had a look at a Newcastle forum last night, just animals if that's anything to go by. We get a bit of opposition abuse on here sure but this was different level, constant neanderthal sick crap on virtually every single post....no football analysis at all, just a stream of bile. Shameful.
Give us the link so we can all see it please

Just watched a clip on the Everton FB page...I didn't realise the Beto goal was after a succession of 29 passes all over the pitch.
That's class
Only plays hoof ball Dyche does though
Me too, it’s incredible how you get caught up in the moment, I’d forgotten the build up completely in my enjoyment and delight.
Being in the crowd last night was wonderful, we’ve had so many “if only” games recently.Bring on Chelsea, they will not be looking forward to coming to Goodison on Sunday.

Branthwaite such a composed head on young shoulders.

I’m there tomorrow…. 3 points would be enormous
Agreed, it will take us out the bottom 3, and be a real moral booster.
-
Improvement definitely needed across all aspects of his game ATM.
-
Great finish to win all 3 points, so I can forgive him for being so one dimensional, learn to use your right foot please!
-
Having settled down and slept, I don’t think we should ignore how important that win was for us, not only will it give the players the boost in confidence and faith in themselves that they can overcome the points deduction, it will have caused concern in the clubs around us, they will have seen that we’re not the basket case we were this time last season and any glimmer of hope they may have had thinking we will be in the bottom three will have disappeared.
2 tough home games in quick succession where we can get 6 points and get out of the bottom 3.
