Looks like he’s got some of his mojo and swagger back, it’s going to be needed.

Today he looked back to his smooth best after that little drop in performances.
He did, apart from a couple of early mistakes where he lunged in and was beaten, after that he was imperious IMV

Anyone still think he should start ahead of Dom?

Really what you’re saying is that you want at least as a minimum Garner or Gomes to start, or preferably both.
I’d rather Gomes came on for last 30 mins, he’s too slow to play the full game, putting us at risk, he’s much better in the last 30 mins as we saw on Tuesday.

Normally when we draw it feels like a loss. Yesterday's draw almost felt like a win. A bit of a gift..
Pickford was excellent.
Gana was good.
Dom at least scored.
Myko was decent.
I'm trying to be positive.
The momentum was with us once we scored, a win would have been wonderful, but the point is more than most would have expected before kick off and even at the start of the season.

Yep.... he can shift. The fact you are surprised says it all - he doesn't do it often enough to notice.
seen him pick up the ball and drive once - impressive, genuine ability to break the lines. Not seen it since.
Are you sure it wasn’t imagined
-
His lack of pace is possibly the reason he doesn’t start, he would have struggled last night early doors.

The shite games at Goodison, a point or 3 isn’t unrealistic

Special mention to "Jill Scott" Burn - how every set piece wasn't a free kick to us is beyond me. What an absolute yard dog he is - just wants to slap hands and wrestle
Totally agree, he was all over Branthwaite on every free kick or corner, looked like a fucking windmill in a gale, how its not picked up by officials is amazing.

Outstanding MOTM performance, and what impressed me most was that he kept his head whilst being jeered at all night, something he’s fallen foul of previously. He does seem happy here so as long as we maintain PL status I can see him staying for long time to come.

Just grateful we came away with a point, looking forward to being back at Goodison on Saturday, I wasn’t at 7.30.

I know it's easier said than done, but I kind of hoped, with our lack of goals and winless streak, we might have found a way to play DCL and Beto.
I don’t think tonight’s the game to do it, away at Newcastle even with their injuries is too much of a risk, whereas Saturday at home against Burnley absolutely needs to be done.

Newcastle 1 Everton 2
Beto

Comical defending from all, which summed up our performance yesterday.
I wonder how we would be reacting if if it had been Keane ?

You believed a bloke who told lies for the best part of 20 years Mike and overseen the destruction of our club.
Haf, I’ve not commented on this since I posted the Mail alleged story, and until I see proper evidence I will take it with a large degree of not believing it, what I don’t really understand is why you are happy to believe the alleged story from a tabloid know for generating shite for the sake of it, yet are hyper critical of many on here who took what came out of the club under BK in good faith.
Are they not the same thing?

The argument for keeping Simms increases by the day, missed an open goal in first half, then scores 2 and assists the winner today in FA cup.
Come on Beto prove the doubters wrong….. pleeeeeease !- Romey 1878 and Matt

Like a fool I opened this.
The first few words I’ve copied and pasted, so there’s not substance imo which is no surprise.
Mail Sport has learned Dyche.
