  1. Police horses will be terrified tonight - couldn't happen to a nicer club. 60 more years hopefully
  2. Absolutely made up that they're bossing it, Ten Hag wouldn't let them slip up at 1-0, nevermind 2-0.
  3. The first World Cup that I can remember was 2002, John Motson was very much a part of that tournament and was the voice of the game for most. Sad day.
  4. Went to the gym at half time, a truly master stroke if I do say so myself.
  5. Oh fuck right absolutely off. Off the post and then Gueye doesn't knee high tackle the daft cunt before he can cross it to Salah. Jamie Carragher doing his famous screaming for absolutely no fucking reason too the absolute weapon. Absolutely fuck right off - same goes for that embarrassing tourist cunt giving it the big gums to the camera.
  6. I'd take it if he could help us to get 32% possession at this rate.
  7. Amadou Onana is head and shoulders above the rest of the team, and that's not just because he's about 6'7.
  8. We've got absolutely no out ball, if we were awarded points for losing possession we'd be out of sight.
  9. Can't remember what game it was, but this referee was at Goodison a month or two ago and it was truly the worst performance I've ever seen from an official. Absolutely diabolical stuff on show - think it might have been Crystal Palace where he basically allowed Wilfred Zaha to throw a tantrum and fly into anyone he fancied without getting carded.
  10. Yet the fact that I've named a load that worked shows that it's actually quite a good barometer of young footballing talent, backed up with the transfer fees for those mentioned - Daley Blind is/was a great player too, as is Memphis. The fact that we are debating Dutch football, the birthplace of Total Football and you trying to dismiss it as a throwaway league is truly baffling. The interest in talent from there will always be present, regardless of whether the exports have set foot in England. Football clubs from the likes of the Netherlands and Portugal need to sell high to simply survive and that won't change anytime soon.
  11. Work with a few Liverpool fans and can never understand why they get nervous ahead of a derby at Anfield. No striker up top is a massive worry, I think it'll be a convincing home win to be honest. Klopp will see this as a springboard and regardless of recent form Liverpool are both an excellent team and an outfit that has had our number most years.
  12. No you're right, my bad. Let's just ignore Arjen Robben, Robin van Persie, Ruud van Nistlerooy, Jaap Stam, Park Ji-Sung to name but a few that left Dutch football for the Premier League. Not to mention the conveyor belt of talent that Ajax have exported to European football. Frenkie De Jong and De Ligt springing straight to mind.
  13. Bruno Fernandes, Ruben Dias, Darwin Nunez and João Felix all left the Portuguese League for £50m+. To suggest that the Premier League solely dictates transfer fees/interest is just ignorant.
  14. The world doesn't revolve around the Premier League, Enzo Fernandez says hi.
  15. He won't play for us again, the top teams in Europe will be all over him in the summer and Moshiri will only be too happy to sell in order to help fund the stadium.
  16. I wasn't that bothered about Di Resta however Herbert always came across as a massive plank whenever he spoke. Ted Kravitz is the only one (alongside Jenson Button when he pops in) who I really enjoy listening to. I like the Duracell battery sponsorship placement a lot more than I should . Alfa Romeo is fantastic looking to be honest, though could easily pass for a Ferrari.
  17. I was hoping Marsch would last until we play them as he's completely lost it with them. It'll be interesting to see who they replace him with. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest to see Bielsa return, as much as the press have said otherwise.
  18. The fact that people simply see finishing above Liverpool as a barometer of success is why we are the way we are and ironically why they are the way they are. Liverpool could finish 1st for all I care, it doesn't have an impact on a successful Everton season for me.
  19. I'd say it was obvious, but in summary the protests will stop and we're back in this position in 12 months time.
  20. Sadly it was only a handful of people. My only worry about today is that it'll bring a feel good factor back that makes everyone forget about the boards behaviour and the protests will die down.
  21. Bossed it from start to finish, made Arsenal look very ordinary. If we can replicate that from now until the end of the season we will have no problem staying up - we won't be in the top half but we will be clear enough for it to not be twitchy. Onana was absolutely outstanding today, he's everything you'd want in a player.
  22. First thing I see on the TV as I walk into the ground is SSN reporting on the protest, top job.
  23. Impressive numbers for the protest, well done to all that are marching. Shame that the coward's won't see it in person, but it'll be all over social media.
