  1. Rated him at Porto, after some time in Saudi Arabia? Nah. It'll just be another Rondon that on paper looks worth the punt, but then you realise that playing in China/Arabia makes you miles off the pace and unable to compete in the Premier League. Nope.
  2. That wasn't too bad IMO, not the absolute AIDS that we've been used to this season. Never a penalty at the end either, laughable call from the official. I'm just worried this will be Lampard's last game. Until the board fuck off no manager of Everton should be going anywhere, hope the protest at Old Trafford gets some traction - we need it.
  3. Ings is quality, but he'd be a good signing as a backup to a fit DCL, Richarlison etc. I wouldn't want to pin our survival hopes on him. You just know we'll spunk about £35m on him and be moaning about him in four years time when he's sat on a £100,000 a week wage, in League One missing sitters against Forest Green.
  4. Bill Kenwright being an Evertonian is the biggest myth in football, as the last few years have proven. Staggering result.
  5. The signing of Oumar Niasse makes me sick to be honest. Still can't believe that one of our scouts got talking to his cousin in Tenerife and signed him based off his Fantasy Football points. That in itself should have been a sackable offence and how it's not happened is just beyond me.
  6. When I'm feeling low, I can always count on @Romey 1878 to pick me up.
  7. I'm sure Lampard will be sacked soon while Moshiri, Kenwright and the rest of the clowns take no responsibility for the mess they've created. It's actually getting to the point where relegation doesn't phase me that much, because there's much bigger problems at the club.
  8. I swear every season we get this Everton and taking the cup competitions seriously "debate".
  9. Christmas Eve but if I don't make it onto here tomorrow, Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year. Here's hoping the festive period and 2023 is everything you wish for.
  10. Should be on stage Steve, lung splitting banter.
  11. I said on Twitter the World Cup being extended until May would do me nicely.
  12. The Netherlands have a flu outbreak, so I expect the US to progress.
  13. Ngozi Fulani. They binned her off and apologised to appease the PC brigade that were banging their drums for her to be removed.
  14. I think this whole story is just really embarrassing to be honest.
  15. I beto he will be a great signing for us. You'd betor believe it.
  16. I fully expect Lampard to be sacked before the end of the season and I just can't be arsed with it. Pick a manager, sack them inside 18 months without the board taking an ounce of accountability. Rinse. And. Repeat. Lampard probably isn't the best thing since sliced bread, but scrapping his plans and starting again for the 46th time is just boring, predictable and ultimately inept. It's a bit like having a ship that's sinking due to the amount of screws missing, and firing the cook over and over again because they serve shit food.
  17. Poor/fishy from FIFA that they haven't shared the conclusive images with the world but yes, the angle from above which ITV have shown suggests there's a millimetre or two still on the line.
  18. Japan and Costa Rica going through would have been unbelievable. Just Japan though is fantastic in itself, really happy for them. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I thought that the ball was out and FIFA so far haven't shown any close up replays, all those shown for far seem to show that the ball left the field of play. Payback for Germany's protest in the opening game? It's fantastic for Japan, but it's majorly fishy.
  19. People happy to wave goodbye to our best players are the same people that are happy to moan that we're terrible. Pickford shouldn't be sold under any circumstances, as doing so makes us so much weaker.
  20. I've mentally checked out really, in my head I'll be going next season to say goodbye to Goodison, would like to then spend season at BMD and then in truth I think I'll be calling it quits. The enjoyment of Everton has slowly been sucked out of me, to the point where going every game in rain, hail or shine just isn't that exciting anymore. The fact that they are increasing prices makes me sick, because of those that still love going but will be priced out. Everton should take a leaf out of Bayern Munich's book. The Peoples Club? One of the most laughable "mottos" I've ever seen.
