  1. Blue shirts, white shorts, white socks mate.
  2. Genuinely think you're a wind up account sometimes.
  3. Tim Howard would easily have been England's number one, especially when you consider who we had at the time.
  4. I see that Everton goalkeepers are being discussed and as a result, wanted to confirm yet again the fact that Sir Timothy Howard, ''Lord of New Jersey and both Goodison Park Penalty Areas'' is the greatest goalkeeper not only that Everton have seen, but the greatest goalkeeper that has been known to mankind. It's often whispered around ITK's that Neville Southall, Nigel Martyn, Gordan Banks, Peter Shilton and Massimo Taibi all prayed in front of a portrait of Mr. Howard at one stage of their careers and begged for his wisdom to be passed onto them - in popular culture, this practice it is known as ''Timothyism'' and is performed in all four corners of the world. The followers of Timothyism have devoted their life to seek out how and why Sir Howard was blessed with such goalkeeping greatness but as of today, the 18th of Octoward 2022, nobody has come close to explaining such godlike abilities. With no answers yet, all continue to bow their heads each sunrise and chant at their loudest ''O Timothy, O Timothy, how art thou blesseth with such power?''.
  5. Been to Camp Nou for matchday a few times, it's magical. From the streets outside to the atmosphere in, hope you enjoyed it mate.
  6. That De Gea save was brilliant and it's totally incorrect to suggest otherwise - especially given how late in the game it was.
  7. We weren't utter dogshit, but we were as flat as a three day old Cola and wouldn't have scored a second if we'd carried on until mid morning. Frustrating how much respect we gave United considering their poor result against City and them travelling to Cyprus midweek, massive missed opportunity IMO.
  8. Had a £150 bet with my wife that he would score 15 or more goals this season. Easiest money I've ever made
  9. It's probably going to cost us about £2.80 in the grand scheme of things. It doesn't bother me one bit if we sign him, it by some sheer miracle he makes it into the first team then happy days, if he doesn't then it's not as if we've spunked a load of money up the wall.
  10. Harry Maguire injured for this one
  11. It's a massive chance for us to get all three points at the weekend, they're playing midweek in the Europa League and are on the back of an absolute tonking by their city rivals. As mentioned in my OP, they've got Varane out so it'll no doubt be the return of the £80m refrigerator who has always got a mistake or seven in him. Add into the mix that it'll be a night game, under the Old Lady's floodlights and I think we're in for a cracker. Echoes of Fellaini heading home that bullet in the opening day or Duncan Ferguson heading home past Tim Howard for me. Despite the kick off being at an absolutely gash time on a Sunday I can't wait for it.
  12. Haaland gets injured for a few weeks every season, the amount that he missed for Dortmund was a joke. He won't beat Dixie Dean's record because he simply won't play enough games, especially when Manchester City get deep into the Champions League come February/March.
  13. Varane injured for Manchester United, the welcome return of Harry Maguire against us on Sunday
  14. I don't really get angry about stuff like this, I'd do the same if I were in his position. Why would I move all the way to the UAE when I can be at a Premier League club? The only one at fault here is Everton for offering such a silly deal to such a silly player.
  15. I'd forgotten that there was a POTM, that's how much weight it carries.
  16. Find it hilarious how Moshiri posted that message to "reassure" us all that we weren't for sale, yet the very same investor is back in the news heavily linked to purchasing us.
  17. I was going to go off on a massive tangent about this news, but @Romey 1878has done my job for me - top stuff.
  18. Don't you dare compare anyone to the GOAT Sir Timothy of New Jersey and Surrounding States !!
  19. Unless Frank does something outside of the box and plays either Mykolenko or Vinagre on the right hand side as opposed to the left, it'll be Coleman coming in for all of the games that Pattinson is set to miss. I'm comfortable with him returning, and the abuse that is being posted around social media regarding Seamus is quite frankly disgraceful.
  20. Southgate won't get sacked, but I think he will walk after the World Cup regardless of what happens. I think Lampard would definitely be in the running, and he would go for the job if selected I'm sure but I think the FA will probably go for someone overseas this time around. The nation has been crying out for an attacking minded manager and I think they'll have that on their mind when selecting the next candidate. The amount of English managers isn't exactly a fantastic crop at the moment and I just don't see who would fill the vacancy that would do anything of note - the only one that I'd be happy with would be Graham Potter but there's no way he's leaving Chelsea early. Just me that finds it cringe when Evertonians call Steven Gerrard ''Stevie G?''
  21. The women's game sadly seems too stubborn to do something like that. As the father of a daughter myself I'd love nothing more than the women's game to improve but when you've got goalkeepers struggling to hit the halfway line alongside some truly awful goals being scored it's hard to remain engaged. I've tried several times to get into Women's football and just can't. Smaller pitches and smaller goals would improve the standard quite a lot to be honest, but it won't happen.
  22. I wanted Southgate at the start due to his work in the U21's and think he deserves to go to the World Cup based off previous tournaments but even I'm starting to question him a little. The painfully negative football with what is a golden attacking generation is absolutely madness, as is sticking with favourites such as Harry Maguire when they're so obviously fucking dogshit.
