The amount of injuries we have, and have had for a season or two now is just completely beyond a joke. Without sounding like a conspiracy theorist you have to wonder what's going on at Finch Farm, do we have SAS themed sessions as opposed to ballwork? Granted Rondon being out is a bit like saying the canteen has ran out of dog shit burgers but still, just mind-blowing.

It would be good for the Women's game if there were preliminary rounds introduced, in order to bring the scores closer together. From the outside looking in, it's hard to take the sport seriously when you've got one team with 58 shots against 0 (with a 10-0 victory). That's not me being sexist either, as the father of a young daughter I'm keen to see this side of the sport grow.

The league hasn't cared about the matchday fan for years, but it just seems to get worse every season. Especially when (and this isn't anyone's fault but our own) that we're serving up absolute shite on the pitch. The defending from Harry Maguire for the second was absolutely criminal, it honestly amazes me how people give him the time of day, nevermind put him in the "world-class" bracket. I said when he first signed that he had future captain written all over him, I don't know if it's the dissapointment of being cut from the Euros squad but he's awful at the moment - a good five or six mistakes in him per game which in turns makes everyone around him panic. Yerry Mina can't come back soon enough.

Normally I'd agree with you, but as the Glazers are only interested in the Top 4 he will get a long leash. Just this week they've announced new contracts for much of Solkjaer's backroom staff, and I don't think that would be happening if he had one foot out of the exit door. What an absolute clusterfuck of shit that was. Iwobi with another one of those games where you wonder if he's won a competition to come and play as a footballer for a season, another one with as much threat as a wet fart. Pickford was gash, popping world class long balls to an Everton shirt but it was unfortunately being worn by Gwladys who's 87 and sits in the disabled section. Another one who can just fuck off after this afternoon, haven't seen the goal back but it looked like he was fouled - I'd normally be up in arms but our performance deserved to be punished, taking a point would just take the piss. That's the same for all Netflix shows, Lupin (French) is subtitled incorrectly which was a bit annoying. I'm two episodes into Squid Game, didn't see the appeal in it but absolutely hooked. Fantastic show, unbelievably acted and directed.

I've always been someone that works to live as opposed to living to work. We're only here once, time is not guaranteed so I'm not spending my life working 16 hours a day to ensure that Jeff Bezos can go jet-skiing when he feels like. Of course there is the element of going to extra mile for your job, but that comes from personal pride as opposed to being a slave to the system. In that sense, Covid didn't really change me but it was a massive clusterfuck regardless. I can remember going shopping on my own and nearly having a meltdown because I was around people again (I didn't leave the house for the first three months of lockdown) and as a result my social skills took a bit of a hit, glad to say that as we're now "back to normal" I too feel pretty much as a I did pre-pandemic. I do feel like society is waking up though, more calls for working from home and a four day week. People are realising that the "norm" and dying of stress due to a ridiculous workload is absolutely stupid.

I think that's more to do with Fred being poor at his job and losing out to Gray, and Shaw being pulled out of position leaving Townsend rather than anything Ronaldo did or didn't do. The fact that he wasn't starting would have certainly given Everton a lift, and I think when Cristiano did come on he looked the most likely to make something happen, he just wasn't around long enough to get "that" chance. What I would say is it's a simplistic way of looking at the game. Yes I agree Ronaldo should have started, but they dropped points because of flaws that have been around for months (perhaps years) now, plus the fact that we did very, very well!

The officials could have allowed Sheriff to play with 12 men and they (Madrid) should have won the game comfortably.
