  1. I agree about Doucoure and his irreplacable (ironically) all-around work-rate but especially on high-pitch pressing; however I am still having trouble to understand why attacking press is not a thing for the last 2 weeks. I don't wanna think the attacking press is only counting on Doucoure's presence on the field, fingers crossed.

I like how Dyche boosted the team in general tho, since he is appointed.

  2. As a Turkish person, the only thing that connects me to her is/was my granpa. It's a well-known information in my family that he was deeply in love with her, even grandma was knowing it and mocking him as she was aware how delusional he was about Elizabeth. But yeah, my grandpa was thinking that she was so beautiful. Actually before getting married to my grandma, he tried to get on a ship, reach to UK by think that he may find a way to talk about his love to her. He was a good man, a very dedicated, good father/grandfather but a crazy man as well, in his own craziness. My grandpa passed away 14 years ago, and my dad's first reaction to the news yesterday was "Now my dad can have a real chance to go after her".

I am neutral when it comes to my feelings about her. She is, though, definitely an important part of the modern day history. That's for sure. My condolences to those in this forum who cares about her and the royal family.

  3. Well, Turkish league is garbage but sometimes getting away from your comfort zone or going to a place where you worse is the best for that community may bring your self-confidence back. To be honest, I don't think Besiktas can match-up his buy-out price so probably he'll back. So, it can work out for Everton if he focuses on his job, otherwise he'll be a garbage as he is now, nothing to win, nothing to lose.

Just very sad on so many levels this, players quite often fail to live up to expectation/hype but I'm struggling to recall such a dramatic fall from grace. Plainly the problem is between his ears and I have great sympathy for him in that regard, but what a waste.

yeah, that is why Besiktas is the perfect place for him. we like mental, old "wonderkid" prospects very much and giving them chances :D

maybe he shines here in Turkey, let's see.

  5. I think it is going to be revenge of the Cenk's transfer.

Couldn't make it in Tottenham. (Even with Mou, he loves footballers with weird personalities)

Couldn't make it here, since he has been transferred. Can't even make in Lampard's first 11.

I think this guy has some mental problems. Problem attitude,  he is going into deep shite. There is no way up from Besiktas, which is the team I support as many of you know, here in Turkey. Turkish football goes backwards both on the pitch and economically. It ofc includes Besiktas. So, I think it will be a transfer to hit and run. I might be wrong, he can prove himself here but pretty long shot IMO.

Welcome to the Premier League to Onana.

I said earlier about us on the counter. Davies no good, Holgate and Tarkowski don't do that great as a pair either as they look to do the same thing. At least the latter tries to back in.

two mistakes on attacking transitions returns as a counter attack, two conceded goal. not the premier league but more like welcome to the groundhog day onana!

Gordon's developing a bit of a habit. That was very light.

    Gotta cut that shit out

I was just thinking this.  There's just a whiff of hubris about him, flashing about, flying into tackles and diving.  Attitude?

It must be the defect of being a promising young talent in a struggling, underperforming side. "I am the only one who is trying to do something" kind of behavior maybe, don't know. I have sensed the same from his actions, his body-language. I can't tell this is what it is but, I don't like it either. Nevertheless, it can be controlled with a proper mental assistance.

  8. What a season it has been... Phew!

It's been 2 days, I wasn't able to watch the game but did watch the entire game on record, same night. Thrilled with the comeback and glad we dodged relegation. Damn!

I hope this teaches the club something, and I mean the board and management. Because I don't think there will be "next time" before hitting the rock bottom, this was the last exit IMO.

The only positive thing about this season was Gordon for me. I hope he continues his development, he has a star vibe.

    Well done, Blues!

  9. I think the best brainstorming should be focused on how to get rid of Moshiri, instead of countless manager or player names. He is the reason why this club is sinking, why this club is about to fail to attract even young, promising players. I haven't born in Liverpool, I am an outsider follower which gives me a unique power, outside look. From my perspective, in a parallel universe where I could be young andpromising footballer, I wouldn't sign for Everton. Everything looks like a mess from the outside, unorganized. Even Brands ran away, Ancelotti ran away, soon others will follow.

How shite or succesful manager is Lampard is arguable but how shite Moshiri is not. Sack Lampard, bring Guardiola, bring Tuchel, even Klopp from Liverpool... There is no way they can success in this organization.

The club is looking like another thrown away toy in a rich boy's room.
