Haf is right lukaku is not what he thinks he is, he moans but won't do nothing himself. Starting Pendleton cost us that game. Liverpool were not at there best today yet we are beaten before we kick a ball so frustrating derby day every year

if its how mirallas has portrayed himself the last year behind that comment then i could understand not wanting him in the team but theres no way im having kone is a better player than him or even near to his level, before rom came he was probably the best player in the squad we owned as much as he can be inconsistent its been down to fitness and mentality with him lately, the sad thing is if he did get back to his best im sure he would jump to leave as soon as he got the chance as hes been on the bench for kone half he season watching him do nothing. as been said on here before hes nothing more than a 20 minute end of game player to hold the ball up he just doesnt do enough for me as a striker at least rom can finish the same cant be said of kone we could make a youtube compilation on his missed chances theres been that many.

are you for real, who else would you rather play then? no changes as per usual martinez other than kone out for lennon or naismith.

you would take a draw? cant belive that what a joke if were all accepting a draw with newcastle. its win or nothing for me, what good are these draws doing to the points tally? rather lose trying to go for it and attack than try to bore the opposition into a mistake bypassing it slowly around the halfway line whats that about.

most frustrating time to be an everton fan i can remember, we actually have the team to challenge aside from the fact everyteam is beating one another we have missed out big time on getting our club on the map this year

hes a decent player but cant see why people are licking there lips over him nothing above a decent player with a good pass on him, theres teams in the europa who would run rings round him. we need a creative midfielder not another defensive minded one to add to mccarthy barry besic however he is a good squad player.

We've showed this season we can break quite well (Unlike previous seasons)
Arsenal back 4 really don't have any sort of protection from their midfielders. I think we'll have quite a few 3/4 on 2's and a couple of right decisions/balls and we'll get a goal. I do however think this one may be a little out of our reach and we'll record our 2nd loss of the season.

    Tommy is a legend!!

Always remember being at the game and he made a tackle and ended up coming off worse and being stretchered off with what looked like a bad injury or he was knocked out. As he is leaving the pitch the crowd start singing oh tommy tommy and you just see this hand come up from underneath the blanket and shake his fist ha ha

I no just meant look his form dipped then too, i like the way he is homegrown and that he would happily end his career here but he's just not good enough to be starting center midfield imo not saying he's useless he has his moments, there just not very often.

Blue4Ever got a reaction from pete0 in Manchester United (Away)
Moyes said: “I thought they [Manchester United] played very well during the opening period, but I didn’t think we helped ourselves.

“We got back into it but the second goal killed it for us. It was unlike us – I don’t know why we were so far up and square at the back. We gave them an opportunity to make a through pass, which Van Persie ran onto.

“Ossie had a good chance and we forced a couple of corner kicks. We put them under a bit of pressure and I thought we played well up until about 20-25 yards out from goal.

“The problem was that if we gave it away, they looked as though they could counter-attack. Wayne [Rooney] and Van Persie were very fast on the break and were always going to be a threat.

“We didn’t have enough when we got into the final third of the pitch today to make the difference.”

Despite slipping to just their fourth league defeat of the season, Moyes commended his team for fighting to the final whistle.

He continued: “We did great to keep at it, albeit Manchester United had a two-goal lead and have a big game in midweek.

“But I thought our players stuck at it. They kept trying to earn a goal and did themselves proud with the way they played in the end.”

    dont agree davey

i know im fed up of him saying that.

Sorry but leon osman is not good enough to be challenging for europe, aston villa/west brom maybe but were never going to move on untill these average players are used more as squad players and when you have a squad like ours he's hardly going to be out the team is he.

Today proved fellaini is half the player he is further back the pitch imo, fair enough he is good in the air and controling the ball but no way is he an attacking midfielder, jones done a decent job but anyone who stays within 5 yards of a player ever second of the game is going to get the odd tackle in didnt think he was as good as people have been saying.

Phil neville when are you going to fuck off seriously what do you do for this club on the pitch.

Heitenga has no pace what so ever, probably our best defender last season, this season has shown he has lost it completely would rather have had duffy there today we all knew he would have something to do with a united goal.

your feeling wrong then, what does he do honestly other than shout and point and pass the ball sidewards and thats if it gets to an everton player, cant tackle, he's slow, backs off players untill there at the edge of the box then gives a freekick away of all places. im awaiting the day he retires

take the win but in all fairness we are not good enough that was a poor bolton side and we still cant seem to pass the ball on the floor, moyes tactics are on sunday league level, he in no way won us that game with that sub he brought johnny on so we didnt concede and everyone knows that.

made up for johnny could have been captain at one point but now looks like he will be gone soon

Blue4Ever reacted to Lowensda in Fellaini - Defensive Midfielder
Fellaini has a much greater influence on the game as a DM. He's been effective as a Supporting Striker but that's taken its toll on Jelavic. Long passes up to Fellaini, don't allow the people in font a chance to receive at feet as often.

When Ossie was behind Jelly, he was able to find him more often and Jelavic was banging goals in. The likes of Pienaar's and Osman's game have suffered as a result of Fellaini's positioning. In an absolute ideal world, it would always be a CM partnership of Gibson and Fellaini.

Gibson - Long Passer, Interceptor, no nonsense, Sliding tackler

Fellaini - Short passer, Aerial threat, Technical player, Standing tackler

Both together, compliment each others game in the middle of the park. It allows the 'Front four' and 'Attacking Three', the ability to switch and 'float'. Fellaini playing at his best in the middle, is Everton as a team playing at their best. I doubt that in the latter stages of games, we'd get over run as much.

Boring hell! You obviously have a big chip on your shoulder about Pienaar but like said he's back and he'll give his all for us and once again as said he makes us better. Pienaar is by no means an angel but you are being very selective about Barton - just the 8 games he's missing at the start of the season is it? If you can't see that Pienaar is good for us like we're good for him then there's not a discussion to have really.
