It's pretty obvious Neville is the least experienced of those mentioned as said He has no experience apart from the one week as Louis mentioned where as the other internal lads mentioned have some experience working with players and all that goes with it...
 
I'm sure He will do well one day in a managerial capicity but to put him in the job here because he's played for the club is far to risky and boardering on lunacy for Me. He's a great pro with the right attitude but that holds no weight in how he will fair on that side of the fence.
 
He needs to earn his stripes and prove he has what it takes and this is not the club to experiment with.
 
I'll say it again if any of the lads from within the club get the job which I can't see happening tbh it will be purely due to it being a financial simple quick and easy decision but will more then likely prove to be expensive frustrating and costly on many fronts.

I've got far to much to say on matters like this in particular Islam and so on but really can't be bothered getting into it all. No racism or segregation in My views btw but now is not really the time.

Im not even looking into who may come in now and just hanging fire to see who is appointed its no different to the silly season being linked with multiple players then getting someone in we or most have never even heard of or considered.
 
All I will say is our foundations have not been tested not yet anyway and we should be looking at winning things that's what all sport is about and where commercial value and revenue increase which goes hand in hand with moving the club forward.

I'm not sure what any managers playing career has to do with it but Moyes Fergie Mourinho Where hardly house hold names. To say he's assistant material is very harsh on his abilities then to suggest Round who is just that is baffling..
 
Round has shown very little of himself in any managerial regard apart form the odd post match interview and has no high end experience in the hot seat what so ever.
 
Moyes was an unknown quantity at the time but was given time to develop the squad and himself in the process and we are past the point now of taking a risk on an unknown as we did back then.
 
Martinez is not my first choice but I can see why he his others and I do think he could do a good job here if given the opportunity.

Reading Laudrup's comments he didn't rule himself out at all. He just said it was all speculation and that he likes to live in the present.

Andy I think the trouble is We have all danced this dance on here time and time again and people probably won't engage You fully on the age old Kenwright debate due to said reasons bud.
 
The opinion on here is pretty much split to be honest with some sat on the fence and I can see both sides of the argument in general but regardless of what side of the fence You sit to question another persons desire to win on that basis is a tad harsh mate as the situation is far more complex and in depth then most people give it credit.

I can see why fans would boo this is all but a massive distraction to all involved at the Club and dealings like this should be sorted behind closed doors at the end of the season.

This is the point Av Sideliner has posted possibly the most sensible post I've seen on here for some time and it's met with a reply that has no logical tie to football or what was meant.
 
It seem's to me the more so called positive posters on here are the ones turning it into a negative and tiresome place of late. It's not a personal dig at you mate but some of the stuff on here is like listening to school kids debate who's dads the hardest.

Nope with two consecutive clean sheets I feel Johnny and Distin have done well together of late, I know Jags played in the Stoke game but that was due to Moyes trying something new and for Me it did not really work and a team like Spurs with all due respect to Stoke will be far less forgiving if it goes tits up...

It's obvious that Moyes favours having Neville in the starting eleven and I'm not sure how it can really be disputed!?
 
Even the fact that He has played so much with being piss poor for the most part shows that, You can't blame Him for playing if picked but Moyes is/has really turned Neville into a player most people cringe at seeing on the team sheet by persistently sticking with Him when we have other and better options.
 
He should not be anything other then emergency cover at RB.

I could see Martinez coming if the job was offered to him for many reasons..
 
I very much doubt Wigan will get European football next season they also have no money and with being a relatively small club with no real draw or appeal to decent players they will always be in a relegation dogfight season after season.
 
It's a no brainer for a manager at a club like Wigan to move on if a club like Everton come knocking, fair enough very little money also but we have a chairmen who has proven loyal to his current manager which would be a massive draw even before we get into the salary and league position current squad and so on.
 
I'm not sure if Moyes will sign if He does then fair enough just get it done asap and stop dragging it out causing unrest, if He does not then fair enough I'll thank Him for his time here and say He did a good job for the most part on very little resources but also take into account He was well paid for doing so and is far from as hard done by as many pundits supporters and journo's make out.
 
If He did decide to leave would I want Martinez not to sure tbh I do rate Him as a good manager as He did build the foundations of what Rodgers gets all the credit for at Swansea but there's just that slight doubt in My mind at the moment.
 
Ideally I'd love to have Bilic here, past player passionate has managed at national level in footballs biggest tournaments and likes to play good football and is also a much better tactician in My eyes then Moyes will ever be.

Stoke are not as hard to brake down as previous season's and seem to struggle to find the net and their away form is average at best...
 
I think if we come out of the blocks like we did against City then we really shouldn't have to much trouble the only thing that slightly worries Me is set pieces with their height and Our pretty woeful recent form in dealing with them it could cause us a bit of trouble.

Not really many other options unless the unlikely happens with Barkley but I feel like Moyes will revert back to his yard dog and We may see the dreadful pairing of Neville and Osman in the middle

They went at Liverpool today and got the win but both teams where piss poor in reality...Smith was tireless and gave Skrtel trouble with his strength but I can't see him doing the same to Distin or even Jags for that matter.
 
The pitch was awful which played to their advantage but having Brad flora Jones between the sticks was a huge mistake the guy is beyond shite.
 
Baxter will try to many tricks to try and show off as he did today and next to non came off apart from a few decent long range efforts he looked well suited to the level he's playing at now.
 
Tough tie with being away and the win against the shite will give them an obvious boost and even with our poor performances of late I can't see us playing as shit as Liverpool did today and letting them get the better of us.
