Haha bring Miralles on with seconds of extra time.
One of our most potent goal sources.

I should be pleased but we aren't going to win. I just want to be put out of my misery and get the Martinez resignation and start playing fantasy football with the new owners money.

jofanon got a reaction from rubecula in New investment (finally)!
I would guess that Kenwright keeps 1% therefore being able to veto any big moves - which is probably a good thing
Money bags investor and a chairman with our best interests at heart
Now tell our orange CEO to do one

Might be time for me to start eating some humble pie.
If we can keep this level of performance up then maybe, just maybe, a Euro league position is just possible.
But for God's sake Martinez, Robles is now the No.1 'keeper and Jags and Mori are first choice cb pairing.

There's absolutely no way in hell it would happen (so why am I mentioning it?) but an Alex Ferguson in charge of this Everton team would accomplish great things
I was pro-Martinez when we were searching post-Moyes. But I'm an idiot so don't listen to me.

jofanon reacted to Lowensda in Everton Defence?
Stones isn't over hyped, he is THAT good. He's just believing the hype and making mistakes.
He's playing HIS game but it's not what we need right now.
John needs to learn that there's a time and place, but at the moment his head is so far up his arse because of all the speculation, that he doesn't even know what day it is (looking at him).
John IS naturally one of the best defenders in the world. At present, he's playing badly, for one reason or another. There is no "over hype", it's just.

jofanon got a reaction from StevO in Andriy Yarmolenko
I cant see this happening but a team that looks like...
Robles
Coleman Stones Jags Baines
Dela Besic McCarthy Yarmo
Barkley
Luks
...is pant wettingly good. I think would mean Miralles and Nais leaving though.

jofanon got a reaction from Deacs in Martinez - Direction?
Yes perhaps a little!
The good thing about Martinez is that the team try to compete rather than just acting like a small club and eeking out a win. Because of the talent in the team this will, on occasion, inspire a great performance.
However...
I think Martinez has several big flaws that won't let him transition ambition to results on a regular basis. He can't set up a defense and he religiously sticks to players such as Howard no matter what is happening.

And no silly mistakes. The goal wasn't his fault at all.
Being 8ft7 he is quite handy at crosses too.

Brilliant boys.

Everton will lose 2-4

jofanon got a reaction from Matt in Sense of excitement building
Out inability to finish off teams is worrying me. We are battering teams but drawing.
I think that is a fundamental bit of mismanagement by Martinez. He should know how to close out a game and also should be working 24x7 on how to defend bloody set pieces,
It should be exciting but we are mid table still...

Gerry will be the best value signing this year in the premiership.
