strange one this, PSG isn't a destination that jumps out to me as a club where Kean would be guaranteed loads more minutes.  You would think he would get more minutes with us.  DCL is our only out and out striker ahead of him.
New country and league, he's not got the hang of this one yet - strange.

There could be one team that takes advantage of the strange season. Why not us?
I think we are due a bit of luck maybe more than any team. I am thinking as far back as when we missed out on European football in 1985, us being the team that lost the most from the English ban, or Collina, recognised as the worlds best ref, having an off day when we played Villareal in 2005 trying to get in to the CL group stages. I don't think anybody could begrudge us a  little bit of luck in finally getting the opportunity to play in Europe's premier competition.

still top 6, great start but let's see where we are in the new year.

yeah, I was thinking, if it was offered to me now what would I take?. 4th/5th would be a good season (four games ago it was 6th/7th).
Other than Spurs away (and they where poor that day), before the season started I would have hoped to have been taking plenty of points from the other teams we have played; as they are all teams we want to be comfortably finishing above. However, you can only beat what is in front of you, and we have played well looked good doing it. So massive improvement on last year.
I does concern me that we are letting in goals against these teams, but this is pretty much happening to ALL teams and I wonder if having no crowds is having an effect on this. I think all teams are trying to play football more rather than just stopping the opposition scoring - no fear of fans (home or away) getting on your back and heckling you during the game.
Plenty of reasons to be cautiously optimistic. Especially in what is going to be a strange season.

that just shows how much we have been over paying him. .
We and everybody in football knows a few years ago we where paying inflated transfer fees and wages and its costs us a lot of money. The sooner the better these players are off the books the better, just to get some closure on this period.

If he gets bolassie in exchange and maybe Davies or another player on the fringes then.... Who knows. I do love this day. Especially when I'm happy with business already done.

I think having signed Bale, spurs are going to be lot better that they where against us on the opening day of the season. Going to be a tough old battle at the business end of the table.

I really can't understand loan move to PSG - Kean has not been getting game time at Everton, because in the first instance he's just not been good enough yet. Not quite seeing the point of him going to a club where his likely to get let first team game time. I know the French league is a lot easier, but PSG have a few players who would be ahead of him.
We are short of cover upfront, so I am guessing him going is subject to us bringing somebody in - even just to keep us going for this season.

Yeah, that was me. Thought his general touches where landing the team in trouble at times especially in the first half, he just seemed of the pace a little, then he goes and calmly puts two goals in the back of the net like he was on the training ground. He definately needs a dacoure or allan around him, but fortunately we have them, so great team balance.

Very much so, lots of silly mistakes.
Great finish but Walcott should have stopped that shot. His attitude and application has been dreadful.

Only complaint so far.  Why waste the sub on Walcott!?!? Great opportunity for Gordon.

Thank fuck mina got that goal. Brightons tails went up after Pickfords error. As well as losing a goal, these errors lead to changes in the flow of a games. Worrying

If you imagine a 2 year old trying to catch a beach ball slowing bouncing towards them that would just about cover it.

I have just seen the draw for the European games and just had a quick nose to see how it might help (always great to play a team the Saturday after a long European trip. Best we good is Man U playing in Istanbul a few days before we play them in the League.
But something that is very striking is that in the the clubs who are playing in Europe are going to have to fit 6 more games in between 20th Oct and 12th December than we are going to have to play. Just looking at our fixtures from the 12th December till the end of the year - it is mainly home games against team that will have been playing twice a week for the preceding 7weeks - and going in to a busy 3 week Xmas period. This has to be a massive advantage for us. Only having to playing once a week leading up to the 12th December should take us in to the Xmas period a lot fresher and lot less fatigued than all the team we have to play.
In a year of a more congested fixture list, Could this just be that year when a little bit of luck just goes our way in the league and we manage to sneak in to the top 4? These are going to be the '6 pointer' game for a top 4 places.
Its happened to Leicester City in the past. why not us.

Honestly, I’m indifferent about him. Don’t like the way he/his agent played the club, don’t care about his personal antics, and on his day he was very good. But we’re way passed him now.

fell out with Silva very early doors as wasn't getting game time, (I really think he expected to come here and pretty much be in the starting 11!!)
    late for team meeting,
late for training (had to be disciplined by the club), did something similar with Italy,
Ferguson had to sub him after bringing him on because he wouldn't do in a game what his manager asked of him, (for fucks sake!!)
Lockdown party and putting on social media,
purposely putting a 'face on' when scoring a goal (in two league cup game) to make the point of him not wanting to be here, we all saw it (given all the stories leading up to the game, and the fact he is now off - there is little argument on this really). he does not want to be at the club and wants us all know it.
Moments of football brilliance? - nothing that sticks in my mind.
That's pretty much Moise Kean Everton highlights real for his first 12 months!!
One or two behaviour issues, then fair enough the exuberance of youth - but it's a steady conveyor belt with the lad.
Not seen anything that has given me any pride in him being an Everton player, its been an the opposite.
    Question to you:
What exactly has he done right? Do you think he cares about the club at all?

I will be pleased if we get most of our money on him, which sound like we will. So nothing lost really, so he was worth a punt.
I think his biggest problem might have been that he beleived in his own hype and didn't think coming to a club like Everton he would need to improve and actually work hard to just earn any sort of starting birth. I really think he expected to walk in to the team.
He might go on to be the next big think back a juve, but seen nothing to think its going to happen in a blue shit. So best for all parties if he leaves the club.

being young isn't an sort of excuse. 95% of young professional footballer's don't behave in the same way he has, what's special about Kean to allow him to be so arrogant? The lad is in a privileged position but lacks any sort of respect - pretty much defines somebody being a bit of 'dick' or arsehole in my opinion.
If he was my son, I'd have be embarrassed by the way he has generally conducts himself since moving to a new club.
Big Dunc had his number when he subbed him after he came on as a sub. Ferguson wouldn't have done that to a young player if he had build up any sort of respect for him. As a fan, he's done fuck all to get any respect from me either or have I missed something this past 12months?
