What a performance! That takes some doing on their patch.
Repeat that for the next 3 games and we could get close to the top half

Think this is a stronger lineup for them. We need to play smart from the start.
Definitely.
March is normally a starter.
Ferguson is their best CF (back from injury).
Caicedo is a beast in midfield and not a right back.
MaCallister is now in the 10 position, arguably where he is best too.

March is going to terrorize Myko
He like to cut inside too where Myko is weakest.

Look at the replay, he does well. Opens up but funk gets his knee on it
He doesnt get back into it if he goes near post.

Mitouma has Patterson however he wants.
We need to make sure we have an outlet. If we dont cause them a threat on the counter it will just be wave after wave.

I feel like we might need a 2nd, 3rd and 4th to make me confident in this game.

Didnt take long for them to almost get back into it!

I watched their previous match and thought a couple of things.
Webster can be attacked. He struggles with direct, attacking players getting him 1v1. Due to the way they play, we can get at him. Caicedo playing RB is also a weakness. I also found Estupinian a little clumsy.
Welbeck is also out of place in this team. He gave away posession, putting his teammates under pressure and allowed United to counter in transition.
The way De Zerbi has Brighton playing is great though. Dunk is fantastic. Watch how he controls the ball and dictates the play. They often bypass a line, who then drop it back into midfield.
If they cant play through our midfield, the centre backs will go wider, full backs higher up and they will stretch the pitch as wide as it gets. They are such a good side and they can beat teams in a variety of ways.
They are a poor mans Man City and that is a compliment.

If Soton lose at Forest then they are practically (and almost mathematically) gone.
I think we want Saints to win that really and keep as many teams as possible in the shit.

That's a pretty damming verdict on Onana because gana has had a couple of shots the past few weeks that wouldn't look out of place in Rugby League!
Somehow we have three players with the athleticism to play from box-to-box who could be a real threat in the final third but when it comes to composure and technique at striking a ball they are shocking!
Doucoure and Onana in particular have the potential to chip in 10 goals a season breaking into the box if they were half decent finishers.

He has been one of our best players under Dyche, getting him back to doing what he does best.
He was criminally wasted under Lampard IMO.
