  1. Lookman looking naive and weak since coming on. Needs some confidence.
  2. Time for Mirallas to come off and go 442 with Kone or DCL
  3. I like this change. We need to keep our width.
  4. Just seen the Niasse sending off and it is one of the worst decisions you will see this season. Unlike him, hopefully our players come out for thr second half cos they didn't in the first.
  5. Barkley creeping into things at the end of the half but the centre of midfield hasn't been good enough. Barry warming up so I think he will replace Gueye and Morgan will move a bit further forward. Either that or we look at a 5 somehow.
  6. Not sure what Williams was doing there. 2 pieces of shite defending in one move. Not at the races at all yet. Far too slow and cautious.
  7. Gueye should be hooked. Not playing well and playing lazily which is unlike him.
  8. Robles deserved to be dropped after last week but Stek looking Sunday league at the moment.
  9. That's interesting. I wonder what the result would be for mandatory voting over here. Do you get an option to abstain?
  10. It's a representation of the two main party members who couldn't think of two better candidates to go to the polls with. You really were stuck between a rock and a hard place.
  11. He seems to have quite a cultish following of hardcore supporters. Corbyn misses the boat in my opinion. The country is crying out for a leader to represent the working and middle classes, something the name of his party suggests they should be. I have looked at some of his pledges and they seem to be anti business. Increase corporation task, increase minimum wage, increase employee collective bargaining powers, remove zero hours contracts etc. If labour get into power even more businesses will struggle or move abroad and if that happens more people will be out of work or they will be on less hours and that in turn will require the govt to pay more in benefits. If businesses are successful, employees have more choice, the govt gets more in taxes and people have more disposable income to spend at other businesses.
  12. Holy and Matt I stand corrected. Thank you.
  13. I get it but I was just intrigued. These do include penalties though so that will skew the results. As a comparison of Kane. V Bournemouth (h) - 5 shots V Everton (h) - 6 shots V Liverpool (2 games) - no shots at all! V Utd (a) - 1 shot V Chelsea (2 games) - 1 shot V Soton (a) - 3 shots Looking through his stats he is terrible in the big games. Limited shots (which I was surprised by), very few chances created (less than Rom), barely any take ons, few successful crosses, average passing. He seems to be a flat track bully that takes a month to get going. From an output perspective they are very similar, even their conversion rate is almost identical (32.9% Rom v 32.3% Kane). They are completely different players in terms of how they play but they both get the job done. Kane suits possession teams more, Lukaku counter attacking teams. Kane is more rounded but Lukaku's spikes are higher in some areas and lower in others.
  14. Is this Kane comparison taking into account the games he has missed? I presume it also includes penalties. Considering the goals he has scored, I would be fairly confident that Lukaku has consistently had the least chances. Against Liverpool (both games), 1 shot. Against Spurs, 2 shots (1 he created and scored) Against Bournemouth (he scored 4), 5 shots. Utd, no shots. Soton away, 1 shot. I have picked some of our poorer games because I wanted to highlight how we aren't a team that is creating him chance after chance. I accept that Rom could do more and then maybe could help create an extra chance in some games but I just want to show you that this is not a side which is set up for him to score goals, he hasn't had fantastic service all season and in fact these stats suggest that when the team is playing poorly, Rom is too. Shock.
  15. In some parallel universe David Milliband became Labour leader, won the last general election, there was no EU referendum and we were all quietly content with our lives and more than likely better off for it.
  16. I do as it goes against the whole Freedom of Movement part of the EU, one of their core principles. The fact that pro-EU supporters haven't countered with such a point suggests that we can't just stop letting people into the country without good reason (ie criminals).
  17. Corbyn trying to bring down the country, especially businesses, with his manifesto. Increase corporation tax (models shows this actually decreases tax revenue received rather than increase it as the big companies go elsewhere - just what we need for Brexit). Increase the minimum wage - All well and good but it will ruin small to medium sized businesses, increasing unemployment and therefore also increasing benefits.
  18. It might not say it in the extract you quoted but if the UK didn't allow freedom of movement they wouldn't be allowed the same privileges as they got from the EU (such as the single market).
  19. If none of them share your views then don't vote. My previous post was wrong though, you should at least wait to hear what they intend to do and how they intend to do it before making your decision. I'm looking forward to those! The last part is true though.
  20. What amazing service he has! The team is built around him don't you know ?
  21. People should vote for the party that shares their beliefs the most. I don't get this vote for x or y in protest. I couldn't ever vote for the Lib Dems, nor could I vote for a Labour govt under Corbyn. Likewise I won't be going near UKIP either.
  22. The best chance the other parties have are for putting up a manifesto that includes a remain position. It would put the cat amongst the pigeons.
  23. Like Aiden says, different tactics completely. The more I see and read it looks like Shakespeare and Walsh were big influences behind their success.
  24. I think it's hard to vote for the Lib Dems. Fallon isn't much better than Corbyn. The choices are terrible. Lib Dem policy is generally pie in the sky too. It will be interesting to see what manifesto pledges come out.
