  1. It's disgusting to be honest. I didn't know much about the DUP until the last few days but I can't believe that such a party exists in the UK let alone wins seats! Ruth Davidson has already and rightly had a pop and long may it continue. More tories need to do the same.
  2. From his point of view he probably thought he could have some sway and make a difference. It was a difficult decision that only looks terrible in hindsight.
  3. I added that at the end but it was meant for Cleverley earlier in the sentence!
  4. I don't agree either, the Lib Dems were the only main anti Brexit party and they didn't do much, still well down on the Clegg election. Bit sad to see Clegg go actually. Made a mistake trying to get his party in power and has never recovered from it.
  5. It's going to be fascinating, albeit probably the worst case scenario for Joe public. At the very least it's a nigh on certainty that May has gone before the next election. Albeit I doubt they will leave it that long. Ruth Davidson has done really well in Scotland and Ken Clarke always appears to have the countries best interest at heart. I think quietly Labour will be disappointed they didn't get themselves over the line in a coalition of some kind considering how many people voted and what turned out to be such a terrible Tory campaign. This was their chance and I doubt the Tories will make the same mistakes again. It's a massive come down for May, humiliating in fact. I wonder if this will give her a kick up the arse or whether she will close ranks even further. Bad nights for Farron, Nutall and to an extent Sturgeon as well.
  6. Kone was a good footballer and if he didn't get such a bad injury early on he would have been a really solid first team player as back up to Lukaku. I watch him in a training video under Koeman before he got injured (again) and he was absolutely bossing it, head and shoulders above everyone else. If you had watched that video you would think he was the one being touted at £87mil and not Rom! Cleverley was a good signing on a free but it didn't work out for him and Niasse, as shit as he is, has shown that he can score goals. He has done well for Watford and made us a tidy fee in the process. Even Alcaraz stood in when needed with mixed results. Some games he played really well and some games he was absolute garbage. Again he just couldn't stay fit. The problem was that they were all back ups and not improvements on the first team. If there is one thing the Martinez era showed is that you should never buy bench players. Always buy players to improve the first team and then the players they replace sit on the bench. The other two lads were development squad buys so they are always hit and miss.
  7. I think we need to start a new party lads. Mike and Matt to be the founding members, called a "big pair of TT's" ?
  8. Would love it if we somehow got him now!
  9. Yep that seems to wrap things up. Maybe we should go in for Costa? ?
  10. I would actually love it if Corbyn got in. May smugly calls an election, walks around and acts like it's already won and the Corbyn nips in to inspire the uninspired. It's going to be absolute gold if he does it. It's all going to kick off.
  11. If he goes to Chelsea, we should really be looking at Batshuayi in return. More than an adequate replacement.
  12. I don't think that makes a difference now. We keep telling anyone who listens that we have money to spend.
  13. I agree StevO. His game is about power and having control of a game. He looks good in the same type of game Yaya Toure would, one he can dictate and doesn't have to worry too much about the opposition (in central midfield).
  14. Good luck Rom, thanks and all the best. You were good but not great. Now let's hope we get a decent replacement in and we don't start the season with DCL or Niasse leading the line!
  15. Pete & Haf it's you lads being brainwashed by these Corbynistas. I have read the documents, I have seen the pictured and I have read the interviews. I don't listen to mainstream media, I read independent sources where I can. I thought I would post the more interesting ones for you here. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/andrewgilliganblog.wordpress.com/2017/05/28/jeremy-corbyn-helped-get-the-ira-a-taxpayer-subsidy-see-the-documents/amp/ One from the luvvy lefty Guardian for you as well... So Mcdonnell either doesn't read what he signs or he is talking out of his arse. Also confirms Corbyn backtracking on shoot to kill. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/politics/2015/nov/19/john-mcdonnell-denies-backing-call-to-end-mi5-and-disarm-police This one from inside Labour itself: http://labour-uncut.co.uk/2015/08/07/the-idea-that-jeremy-corbyn-laid-the-foundations-for-peace-in-northern-ireland-is-total-fantasy/ There are loads absolutely loads. Even claiming not to have met an IRA with Andrew Neil thr other day despite countless pictures with them. He is slimy and deceitful, not this honest bloke he makes out.
  16. They aren't stories Koeman was quoted.
  17. No he supports them, when questioned he doesn't deny it he just avoids answering. He attended the funerals of the IRA but not those of the British. Even members of the IRA have said he had absolutely no effect on to the peace process which he and his supporters claim. The latest terrorists have nothing to do with our foreign policy. They are mentally unsound British people who have fallen for the words of someone else. If Corbyn is right what exactly did Belgium do? How much involvement have Germany and France in foreign policy in the middle east? Kurdish troops who are leading the fight against ISIS on the ground have said that the strategic bombing / air strikes from countries such as ours is helping them beat ISIS. What do you do help try and defeat them on the ground or not get involved for fear of a domestic attack? Bearing in mind these domestic attacks can come from people who have never been to these affected countries? Corbyn is also against a shoot to kill policy. I suspect he wants the police to speak to these terrorists and talk them round.
  18. Corbyn and Mcdonnell that both supported the IRA? Corbyn that voted against stricter anti terror laws? Corbyn that seems to be forgetting that 9/11 happened before Iraq/Afghan? There are more but I can't remember them without research. If you are going to vote for Corbyn please don't let it be for this reason as he is pulling the wool over your eyes. I also wonder what the people who have been fortunate to escape from the terror brought upon them by Al Qaeda or Hussain would have to say about his comments.
  19. I expect his advisors know that any big players coming in this season will be on a decent wedge as well. He doesn't want to be signing a contract for 80k, when we are paying 100k plus to attract a nee player away from one of the top 6. He will sign eventually.
  20. As soon as Rooney lost his fire to compete his performances have dropped and dropped. If he comes here Koeman will have to get him fighting the world again.
  21. Koeman has said he has big plans for McCarthy next year so I don't see him going anywhere.
  22. Southampton mates of mine tell me he is shite.
