  1. You haven't seen May's bag of beads! ?
  2. Vettel! Last week it was Hamiltons fault for breaking when he didn't and this week it is Bottas' fault for jumping the start when he didn't. He is a bellend of the highest order!
  3. Anyone else think that the story of Rooney returning to us is bigger than Rom going the other way?
  4. Some people are capable of accepting that he actually did pretty well for us. Scored goals, contributed to the team and finally he has done well enough with us to almost quadruple his initial fee. We benefitted from him and he has benefitted from us. I'm not sure you can see that.
  5. That's what I am clinging to. He has always been a player that needs games to be at his best and for one reason or another he hasn't had that. A full pre-seaspn and an injury free season could see a different player to the one we have seen in the last couple of years.
  6. 75mil up front plus 15mil add ons plus Rooney... what a ducking deal that is!
  7. Must admit, I underestimated Ibra as well, pure class. Don't get me wrong Lukaku will still score 20 a season but he won't drag the team out of a hole like Ibra did.
  8. I said this at work the other day. He isn't going to link play like Ibra and create openings, and bring others into the game. You want Rom in space running at players or running into space which he won't get at Utd. That's why I'm hoping £75mil is true!
  9. He doesn't even start every week for Watford. He is a solid player for a bottom half of the league club but that's it.
  10. Not that much of a scout if you can only find Iborra!
  11. He is the best I have seen. Some people just don't seem to realise when he is quoting other sources than his own. Welcome back Wayne.
  12. 75mil is more than a fair price IMO. Not a patch on Ibra and I suspect Utd fans will expect him to be better. Randomly spoke to a couple of my old Arsenal mates and they were of the opinion that the £75mil for Rom made £20mil for Giroud the deal of the century as they don't want him to go anywhere.
  13. I don't think these players would be coming if we didn't have the cash to spend. Mohsiri mentality led him to Komean and Walsh with the same mentality. Koeman has the reputation with the players as well because of the player he was so it's a bit of one and a bit of the other but Mohsiri started the revolution!
  14. No that's true, it's all about desire. Since his first 4 years at United he has mellowed season on season. He has got sloppy, he hasn't been showing that passion. The question is whether coming back will relight that passion. I can see the argument for but I worry he is past the point of no return. I would like to see the aggressive, swearing at refs, pissed off for being subbed/benched even granny shagging if that's what it takes If we get that Rooney he will be worth every penny.
  15. I would go with Mohsiri myself seeing as Ron is only here because of him!
  16. Arsenal could win the league with Ozil, Sanchez and Giroud if they sorted out 5 or 6 of the other 8 behind them. Problem for them is that they won't and never do. Liverpool will always be a threat as they work so well collectively but they ran out of steam last year and with more games you would expect that to be magnified this coming season. United are probably only a couple of players away, but Spurs and Chelsea are head shoulders above in their first 11. Not sure what to make of City yet. I expect them to improve but they still look soft like Arsenal.
  17. Most of them were years ago when he was playing up front. I watched him a lot when he played at the end of last season and he couldn't pass it 5 yards let alone being this amazing playmaker. His shooting wasn't much better either... nor his control...
  18. I don't understand why people go on about his passing? He can only play Hollywood crossfield balls under no pressure, you never see him threading the ball through a congested defence or anything like that. He makes too many mistakes with short simple passes too. He is a goalscorer, nothing more or nothing less.
  19. Both the new boys said thank you to bill and then Steve Walsh in practically the same way... maybe I'm a cynic ?
  20. 2 years ago yes but the last few times I have seen him he has been crap.
  21. I think Keane is more of a cover player as well so not sure that would change much.
  22. I think we get a large sell on fee when Barca do sell him. I also don't think they can sell him in the first season. Best case is that he does well enough to get a big move somewhere and we get a big cut of it!
