badaids reacted to Goodison Glory in Palace 19th Feb (home)
Long balls are pissing me off. It's like it's the first and only thing in mind when tarks and Pickford get the ball.

Giving Harrison a break..he's not been in the best form but out wide he's better than Ashley young!

All for giving Harrison a break. Would be nice if it were literally anyone else filling his shoes!
that said I actually think young has been better on the wing than at full back

badaids got a reaction from StevO in Sean Dyche
Been listening to the Undr the Cosh podcast a lot of late.
Of all the managers that come up there are two that stand out when mentioned by the players as almost universally admired and loved: Warnock and Dyche.
Apparently Dyche really knows how to look after a player, and pays particular attention to those who are injured or with problems. There was one big name player who had huge injury problems at Burnley (can’t remember who, some bonkers Irish winger I think), who had basically given up. Dyche personally take him out for runs, takes an interest and treats him like a human. Said they’ll never forget what he did for them. Loads of stories like that about Dyche. Whatever he might lack tactically, he at least is a thoroughly decent human being.
Apart from when he’s doing he’s pre season ‘Gaffer’s Day’, which sounds horrible.

He just needs to keep doing what he's doing. We've just emerged from a tough stretch of games, and all the cup distractions are in the past, so now we can focus on a sequence of games that are especially important. Things could look a lot better after playing Palace and Brighton. Sheffield United and Burnley look like certs for relegation, while Luton are playing well. Our sights must be firmly on Forest and Palace, which is why our next game is so crucial.

He is a great captain, isn't afraid to stick his neck in at ref's decisions and the team has his back.

Good organisation and work rate for 70 mins, the inevitable goals from city i suppose. Alarming the amount of time we gave the ball away especially DCl our passing has worried me all season to be honest, and im not talking about killer balls, i mean basic 10 to 30 yard balls, short, wide, behind, needs a lot pf work on.

Good teamwork defended well, we weren’t out played, so some good positives from today.

Two shots on target and two goals. Nice to have argubley the worlds best striker at your disposal.
dust ourselves down and get players fit an ready for the next run off games.

I can’t wait until Doucs is back. He’s a goal threat and will do a lot of the work that Dom is currently doing, which means he can do what he is best at, being a nuisance on the shoulder of the last defender and poaching in the box.

I think we’ve done well so far, they’ve not had a shot on target, if we can keep our shape, adapt to the inevitable changes Pep will make, and be calmer in their half.

Great half kept them and the crowd very quiet 🤫
