badaids got a reaction from StevO in Arouna Kone
Also, he used to wear number 2. Stuff like that really bugs me. You can't trust a player that chooses a number that is 'nothing to do' with his position. MIlan Baros (5), and Ince (9) did that. Even Dempsey wears 2 and calls himself 'Deuce', but that's to do with his rapping so we can forigve that. So then, no to Koné purely based on the fact he wears number 2. Actually, he is a bit number 2...

badaids got a reaction from StevO in Monaco is building something massive
Agree about Victor Valdes - hes is Barcelona's Ringo. "Best goalkeeper in the world? He's not even the best 'keeper at Camp Nou"

badaids got a reaction from Pearso in New Kit 2013-14
Imagine calling a kit template that will be used by hunderds of teams 'Revolution'. I bet it's exactly what all the millions of people who have died in real revolutions would have wanted. Mind you, I stand to be corrected. It could be that the fabric is reconstitued of flakes of ballbag skin collected from all the tramps in the world. That would be a revolution in kit design, but I'd still rather wear that than our new badge.

badaids got a reaction from Matt in Marouane Fellaini
Can't beleive the comments about Felli. If he leaves, and it's likely, he leaves a massive hole in our midfield. Yes, he's had some shit games, but he's been a beast either as a DM or an attacker, right at the centre of the team for the last 4 years - he's the best player I've seen at Goodison for years. You only have to look at other forums to see how they rate him, despite his sharp elboows.

I am an immigrant. I am not a muslim, I am not a christian or a jew or anything. I work, pay my taxes and enjoy living in the country that has the good grace to let me live here. The root problem is not immigration. The people that committed this crime, it seems to me, were not immigrants. You can't kick them out, because they are BRITISH. They were not muslim either, though they may have thought they were. I bet you 99% of muslims are horrified by what has happened. What these pricks are is murderers. Fucking idiots. Idiots that would have ended up robbing a bank, or raping someone, or punching you outside a pub. It just so happens that they seem to have had poison put in their ear by another fucking idiot who also thought they were muslim. Immigration plays a part in this, but it's a very small part compared to poor education, poverty, poor parenting, maybe even mental instability.

The world seems to get worse every day. Crazy shit. A servicemen in civvies goes out for the day and gets offed. The perpertrators are not muslims; they are psychopaths; murderers. If the EDL do 'mobilise' themselves in retalitation, no doubt plenty of perfectly decent people will get it in the neck - just for looking like they might be muslim. When will the plebs on all sides of this pathetic vicious circle ever stop and think about how this works. Please stop the planet I'd like to get off now please.

Sort of true... What scares the shit out of me is that Jags is having to pull out these last ditch blocks and stops. It is good, but why the fuck are we exposed like that? It's the pool's defence that is playing brilliantly - they are working together, closing down and shutting us out. Exactly how I wish WE were doing.

Jaime got off on a bad foot in GoT. However, as things go on, you learn about his motivations and why he does some of his things, and you start to learn that he's actually a decent enough person and one of the most likeable characters, well for me anyway. That's one of the things I like about GoT. There are very very few really baddies, and the same for the goodies... 90% of the characters, objectively, can justify their actions - no matter how brutal. There are very few 'evil' or 'good' characters. Jaime is a good example of a 'baddie' not actually being that bad, and Robert Baratheon an example of a 'goodie' who is not actually that good.

badaids got a reaction from StevO in Di Canio
I think the furore over whether he's fascist or not that has been created by the press is a red herring. No-one cared about that when he was at Swindon. There, he was 'wacky far-out Di Canio', chuckle chuckle chuckle. So presumably it's okay to be fascist in the lower leagues, if you are amusing and make good press? What is abundantly clear, and always has been in his career, despite his success at Swindon, is that he is of dubious character; prone to errors of judgement, big-mouthed and always in trouble. That is far more relevant than his supposed political beliefs if you are a Sunderland supporter. Does he really have the competence to escape relegation this season and the next? On the positive side he is passionate, charismatic and confident but I'd be shitting myself if I was a macam. There are some interesting views already from his ex-collegues - he seems to be authoritarian and aggressive with his players. That may work at Swindon where I'm guessing many players might be 'in awe' of him, but at a Premier League club? I hope it will turn out well for Sunderland, but I think this is could be a disasterous appointment. Entertaining, but disasterous.
