If Moyes thought he was the best available defender, he would get picked. Obviously Moyes doesn't think that. I'd like to see him get games too, but I'm trying to be realistic and level headed about his chances.

Neither of us know whether Stones or Oviedo will be good enough in the top flight as full backs (albeit we have Hibbert to cover RB aswell). It wouldnt take that much for both Baines and Oviedo to be injured at the same time.
 
He is still an important member of the team in terms of what he brings off the field, and he can still do a job when we need him to on the field. My worry would be that if Moyes was still here then he might play week in week out like he does now, but that isnt Neville's fault.

I like Phil Neville. It's not his fault he's put out into the team, granted he could retire but what if he doesn't want to? If he's not good enough then the manager should realise that and not play him. He will no doubt be gutted about what happened against Wigan and we have to move on from it, I think all this Twitter thing is a load of bollocks. Our club captain will know better than to say stuff like that.

...is the quote then I agree with him. 11 years ago we were fighting relegating so to finish suddenly in the Top 10 for so many seasons is a great achievement of the club.

I find it a bit sad that you spend your afternoon joining rival teams forums trying to cause trouble. Don't you have a life to live?

We've been to Wembley in 2009 for the final and in 2011 for the semis. We even won it in 1995, we've been to Wembley a lot more times than you and we are a much bigger and better football club.

I wouldn't be surprised if this finishes 5-0. I'm disgusted in them and before anyone starts this isn't Moyes fault, it's the the useless wankers on the pitch's fault.

Replace a holding midfielder with 2 attacking ones? What exactly is Everton's plan for holding midfield? Neville, Gibson, Hitz and Barkley? And how many trophies do you plan on winning that way? And how about the defence?

And people think Martin O'neill is a top manager... Lerner was incredibly supportive of him and when he wanted to see O'neill utilise some of the wastage he aquired Curtis Davies, Sidwell, Shorey, Reo Coker etc etc - MON threw his toys out the pram.

To have gotten Lerner at our club would have been a coup, when you consider that moyes had the likes of Cech, Essien, Moutinho, etc all scouted and available at Villa prices.
 
Pity Lerners approach was rebuffed - I would have fancied him to pick us over Villa and West Ham (the other of his 3 earmarked clubs).
