    Better 2nd half from Ozzie.

I thought Baines had a near perfect game tonight, and was my English motm.

Sterling hot and cold, and a bit light weight. Poor goals to give away from the team.

Maybe Osman got the nod so somebody will pass the ball to Baines.

    Hi matey.

We'd be glad to answer questions.

I think a lot depends on the fitness of one or two players, but we are pretty good all over the park this season, with our achilles heel being our midfield at the moment. If Gibson returns, we will be well balanced again, but at the moment, that role is causing us a headache.

Threat wise, I think the likes of Fellaini, Jelavic, Mirallas, Pienaar, and Baines are the players who you will need to worry about, though Coleman is quite a threat on his day on the right side too, as is Osman. The partnership with Baines and Pienaar is considered the best in the game by many, though it's been a little hit or miss recently as our formation has been experimented with.

I'm not well educated regarding our junior academy players, but guys who are now at the fringe would include Ross Barkley, Shane Duffy, Mathew Kennedy (recent signing from Kilmarnock) Fransisco Junior just to mention a few, with Barkley having enormous expectancy on his young shoulders.

Having looked at the other teams, I really think we have a genuine chance of threatening the top 4 this year, with a top 6 place the least of my expectations. We have played some outstanding football already, though I feel we are not in top gear at the moment. If we can be at the top end come January with a fit squad, I'm confident this will be a good season. We've felt that before too unfortunately lol, so fingers crossed. We certainly don't fear any other team at the moment.

I think the general level of the Premiership this season is impressive, though more so from the teams I didn't expect it from, such as West Brom, West Ham, and even Wigan, regardless of their current position. Only Chelsea of the top sides have looked strong, though even they have hit poor form recently. United are a shadow of their great sides, and don't know how they still sit at the top, and City have been mediocre. It's a real chance for any team not afraid of reputations to get stuck in.

With respect, believe it or not, the only side I'm not too familiar with this season are Reading, so it will be interesting to see how we get on.

I'm hoping we can keep our positive start going though, so even a one goal win would be greatly received.

Good results for us this weekend, with the above draw, Spurs loss, and Newcastle loss. Arsenholes and Fulham drawing too.

I quit clan gaming a year or 2 ago, but might start again with the new Farcry 3. I've still kept up with most single player games since though, and mainly use Steam.

I didn't really bother with CS. The original Farcry was my first real venture into the online thing, although there were many choices back then. We ran clans and leagues throughout Europe, and owned our own servers / Teamspeak servers etc and even trained as teams. It was all quite serious fun. I was pretty shit to say the least, but they put up with me ha ha.

Avinalaff got a reaction from Bailey in O'sullivan quits snooker
Why can't he be put in the same category?

Snooker is a dying sport. It is desperate for people to embrace it so much, that it even changes the game itself. The boring bastards who are the governing bodies are the ones who killed it, with their snooty traditions and outdated approach.

For years, it was all about keeping the top earners happy, and ensuring they remained at the top. They opened the doors, took everybody's cash, and then closed them again, in terms of qualification etc. The game needs personalities like O'sullivan. It needs it's bit of scandal more than it needs talent. Nobody cares if anybody knocks a 147 in anymore. It's too easy now, as players are so good. They care more about controversy, and rebellion.

As for players 'going about their business quietly', there have been plenty of players over the years who've rocked the boat one way or another, from drug taking, to common assault, to match fixing etc etc, including the Scotsman you couldn't recall.

O'sullivan won't be the first guy to hang up his cue, but he'll be the first guy that was miles better than the rest, but no longer wanted it.

We need to tighten up. It's fine to be playing well, but if we don't take more care then it's paramount to a boxer swinging away without keeping his guard up. Many of our conceded goals have been through carelessness, be it a poor pass, poor tackle, or poor positioning, even if we have had a little bad luck.

We know we can attack, but emphasys must be drawn to our midfield, and also our tactics overall. There have been lots of formation changes, and that can't be good if we want consistency, so a big effort is needed to find that final jigsaw piece, to enable us to settle in our best formation, even if it means selling somebody to buy somebody.

That is the strangest appointment. If I wrote down 100 managers, who I had ever thought of, his name would not be there, so why, especially after his comments, would they employ him? I can only presume it is to sack him.

Nobody can force politics on somebody, especially in this country, so any player who doesn't want to wear it shouldn't have to. It's a very emotional and controversial subject, and best left to individuals to decide. Racism isn't just one way either, and not only black players or people suffer it, but every culture, including whites, so I don't think the emphasys should be put upon black sportsmen in particular.

Fans not only should be banned for racism, or violence, but should have to respect fellow fans, in their behaviour in the stands, yet swearing, vile chanting, abuse towards officials, etc etc all tend to go unchallenged. To expect the Neanderthal element of society that is ever present at football matches to behave, when they're allowed to turn into tribal animals as soon as they take their seat is a bit optimistic. Anybody who has been to a game has seen the ugly side of human nature, and that's the sad thing, as it is a game, not a war.

I wasn't surprised to see the England manager bottle it and play Cole etc, but Baines plays for Everton, and has played along side both Center backs as part of his professional job for his club. Add to that he could have had an argument for motm last time out, and is one of the in form Prem players, it was a sign that Hodgson isn't quite what I was hoping for as England manager.
