Was a hugely embarrassing, verging on shameful, time for the club. I'd honestly have felt prouder to be an Evertonian in the Championship rather than have him at the club; as a Blue you get used to taking a bit of verbal, most of it you roll with because you know you have 150 of history and dignity that few clubs can match to fall back on.
For six months we lost that completely for me. Horrible time and a horrible man.

He did indeed do that. But it's the culture he brought with him. The arrogance. Him, Koeman and Benitez of the same ilk in my opinion.
I agree in sorts with what you say there about Dyche. Until the last paragraph. Then I don't agree and feel that sort if criticism is too far for the job he's done so far.
I'm going to see how we fair in the last 6 games before finally deciding where I am with him. I'm a bit 50/50 now as I'm not happy with how long the run lasted and some things said recently, how we've gone about things etc.

I think the point is that 'we' say the same thing year after year.
When a manager is disliked, it's one of the repetitive accusations that gets made.
And it's been made year after year for....years!
I think we can all agree that as the last 4-5 years have gone on, our squad is getting smaller and worse in quality.
Whether it's Dyche or somebody else, it's gonna be a tough job for years to come. And I expect the same accusation(s) to be repeated during those years.

Yeah. For me it's more the statement of deliberately playing it long...like it was a master stroke for this game that we've not seen before 😂

He's come out with some weird stuff recently. I guess that's what pressure can do to you.

Quite a telling paragraph from the clubs statement..
"Everton remains committed to working collaboratively with the League on all matters relating to PSR but is extremely concerned by the inconsistency of different commissions in respect of points deductions applied.

To be fair, though, I think at the time all was 'OK'. As in, a certain Russian was in the background putting money in in various ways.
So, financially, they probably had a plan and that was sound.

That's kinda my point...we've not been happy with hardly any!
Ancelotti, in my opinion, got away with his name. But so often we were dull as fuck to watch. However, I think if he'd stayed, with the funds we had then, different story a season later.
I think we sacked Silva too early. I liked him. But, again, we shit the bed and fans were calling for his head as soon as results didn't go our way.
    Same happened with Koeman.
Allardyce and Benitez shouldn't have been near the club.
Dyche, while far from perfect, deserves more credit than what he's sometimes being given.

For me Koeman was a bigger disaster than Benitez and Dyche he wasted so much money on bad players.
and apparently he was going playing golf when the team was training he took us for a ride big time.

    Exactly.
The January window was the quietest, wasn't it?
The 'eco system' of the league collapsed.
Now the rules are going to change...

The build will be under contract, not pay as you go.
There will also be a consideration for resources, if this is not met they will most certainly be a charge as the resources would need to be reallocated.

You're going into details that we don't know if they're applicable in this case. Still, I don't see the point, especially since the loans for the majority of the construction were secured. Either way the club owes that money plus interest. In my opinion, it is best for the stadium to start operating as soon as possible and begin generating revenue. Additionally, this stadium is a huge asset that could eventually be sold to cover the obligations. Getting a massive loan and abandoning / delaying indefinitely your investment plans is far worse from a financial standpoint.
Valencia did something similar to what you suggested, and it has not been going well for them for over 15 years already. But they are lucky to be playing in an inferior league and have avoided relegation numerous times.

Firstly they would be paid for the work completed to date, then they would try and negotiate a payment to cover any costs that they had occurred, if they couldn’t reach an agreement they would then refer to the contract, which wouldn’t say that Everton couldn’t stop the build due to financial constraints or difficulties, it wouldn’t say that if Everton did force Laing to stop the works that Laing would be paid a specific percentage of the contract costs.
It would state the both parties should enter talks to reach an agreement, if no agreement can be reached then it goes to arbitration, where both parties will make a submission to the arbitrator who is a trained barrister or Judge who has extensive knowledge in contractual disputes, Laing would be pushing for loss of earnings, which they would undoubtedly win, that means they will be only entitled to what they made as a percentage of profits from their last full set of accounts, so let’s they there last set of accounts showed a net profit of 3% and the signed contract value for the Stadium build was 500 million, they would be entitled to a loss of earnings of 15 million and for any works completed.

I simply do not believe that no club before us failed to stay within PSR. It's an impossibility in my opinion.
Coincidentally clubs start failing it when the independent regulator is looking to be brought in, two clubs are charged and punished, all of a sudden there is an extremely quiet transfer window from all clubs.
    Hmm.

Exactly this, let’s now channel our anger into coming together and galvanising our strengths to beat the drop and stick to fingers up to the PL, as the saying goes don’t get angry get even, let the higher hierarchy of the club fight an appeal, let the team and fans fight to win every point available to us before the end of the season.

I am 100% convinced that this all started when the sly 6 decided they were going to destroy the English footballing pyramid to enrich themselves and our club was the loudest voice in calling for them to be punished heavily.
Richard Masters was handpicked by the red cartel of United, the shite and Arsenal so it's no coincidence that after going hard for them publicly that their lapdog is going after us now.
