OS says Arteta unlikely to play.

For that reason i'm going to rule out my 8-1 victory!

2-0 instead.

Hopefully their taking caution on Arteta with a view to making sure he's fit for the midweek against Villa.

Howard still not fit enough to kick and Yobo also a doubt.

If Arteta isnt fit then Pienaar must move inside (or Osman) and then Billy should play on a wing (or Vic) and we must not be tempted to drop Cahill back deeper. I also wouldnt use Rodwell as a straight swap for Arteta as I think he is better when he has a bit more freedom, and should only be used as a Cahill replacement later on.

anybody here agree with me ?everton v west ham tomorow should beat them easily,in my opinion i think we should be much better off this season dont get me wrong moyes is doing a good job but i just think in some games he can be a bit negative v lisbon v chelsea in the carling cup last year ,he has spent a lot of money on billy and felini,i dont know maybe im expecting too much???????

I agree with LexKing a little that I'm a bit wary of predicting anything for this game. I'd like to say we're gonna walk all over them but WH are fighting for their lives and really, really need a result, I don't think it's gonna be easy. Saying that if we can get a goal in early it might just knock what little confidence they have, but the longer we leave it they may actually grow in confidence and think they can get something out of the game. A point would be a good result for them, disappointing for us.

Personally, I'd like to see us do a City, and score 3 in the first 10 minutes. After that it should be a walk over ;0)

The teams are in: EVERTON XI to face West Ham: Howard, Neville, Distin, Jagielka, Baines, Heitinga, Pienaar, Osman, Bilyaletdinov, Cahill, Saha. SUBS: Turner, Hibbert, Yakubu, Senderos, Rodwell, Duffy, Wallace. COYB.

I think this is the best midfield set up IMO and it will be interesting to see how Billy does.

I also think the bench is very interesting. Nash has been dropped for Turner, Hibbert is back and Duffy and Wallace get the nod. Hopefully if we do get a few goals up Duffy can come on and make his Premiership debut (I think?).

Fancy billy to score.

gone 9/1 First goal and 4/1 any time.

I fancy us just to win 2-0 without Arteta but i'm hoping they can prove me wrong and give them a good hammering.

Bah, I wouldn't mind a cheeky pound on first goal! I can't be bothered to walk to the bookies in 20mins and I can never work out online betting!

Seeing as MK Dons lost me £150 yesterday :'(

It would also be good for the confidence of the rest of the players if we could beat them comfortably without Arteta. Since he has come back he has grabbed a lot of the headlines and then when this players isnt available sometimes players heads drop, especially if we dont get an early goal (and especially after the draw at Wolves).
