Louis
Can I just say that I think you're cheating by including trilogies and treating them as one? I'll name those not listed above Star Wars - The Empire strikes back Ghostbusters The Abyss Lord of the rings: Return of the King Leon Empire of the Sun Blade Runner Die Hard! Rocky Total Recall/Running man - don't know what it is exactly.. but I adore these film Honourable mention for La Dolce Vita It's depressing that I can't think of a British film in my top 10.. Ladykillers and can I get away with Goldfinger?

The Beard
Trying to work mine out, I have a very eclectic mix, rather like my music, but without checking on previous posts I am surprised 'The Pianist' has not been mentioned. Stunning film, I was spellbound by it all, and in my opinion, Schindlers List is a very second best to it, albeit a story on different lines to a similar tale. Very recent, Inception and Shutter Island have been reallly good films. Leonardo Di Caprio, may be one dimensional but a fine actor.

Replying to my own post, I apologise, but my ecelectic mix means, as sad as it may sound, I love all James Bond movies and Carry On... films for total escapism when the times offers.
