Yeah, Ricksen attracted controversy throughout his career and especially at Rangers, but there is an outpouring of sympathy for him. Motor Neurone really is an awful disease. Terrible to see people waste away, and very frightening when it's a fit young man who's been a professional sportsman. Just shows that nobody is invincible.
