no competition really was it.

If only everyone on the team was as good as the 17 year old debutant.

outstanding (ly) bad performers:

Beckford -Had the touch of a Sunday league player at best, should have been subbed earlier on.

Fellaini - Never got up with the game, lost the ball a lot, constantly offside, needs to smarten up next game.

Barkley by a mile. Baines can have a mention.

I felt sorry for Beckford today, okay his touch isn't the best at times but put a ball into the channel/through the middle for him for fucks sake some of his movement is 'world' class and all we do is pass it sideways. I blame Cahill for their goal today - instead of playing Beckford thorugh 1 on 1 (with the right ball) he's goes himself, the move breaks down and from the next period of attack QPR score. It's time for Timmy to be more of an impact player rather than a guarenteed starter.

Obviously Barkley but honourable mention to Becks who ran his socks off without getting balls played through to him and things not working out but at least he was trying to be intelligent with the ball. Also great to the Big Afro back in action and showed why we miss him

What did Fellaini do apart from standing off side?

1st second flicked on for Cahill who was unlucky not to score. Apart from that everything came through him when he came on and controlled the middle. Almost scored at the end as well, not bad for 30 mins work after a long injury lay off

Don't think we controlled the middle at all. If we did, it certainly wasn't because of him as he was playing up top.
