What are the best films you've ever watched?

I ask as I have been downloading films lately to watch of an evening, but beginning to run out of ideas after having watched about 50 different ones. I appreciate you have a 'What are you watching' thread, but that's a bit different, as this is specifically about movies to download, so have opened a new thread in the hope to get some answers.

Here is a list of recent movies I've watched:

Cheers chaps.

Lots I've not watched before though I've seen some.

Funny enough another wonderful film I saw recently was actually an Indian film, called 3 idiots. It is the biggest of the Bollywood films, and was about 3 lads during Uni. Loads of laughs, and drama too.

Natural born Killers

Pulp fiction

Straw Dogs (The original)

Gladiator

And a good old one worth seeing, if you can find it ... The Quiet Man, an early John Wayne movie with Maureen O'Hara. The best and longest fight scene i've ever seen in a movie.

If you want to watch free films .......

Download and Install BitTorrent http://www.bittorrent.com/

[redacted - no sharing illegal websites]

Be sure to frequently visit your start up menu, and turn off anything you don't need to start when windows starts, by typing msconfig into your run or search and going to the Start up tab.

Seeing Titanic at the top of the list put me off reading much furtherwacko.png .

Far better is the 1958 version http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0051994/ "A Night to Remember" but you may struggle to download itlaugh.png .

It has the added bonus of my grandma being an extra in it....stole the film for meworship[1].gif

It's not a film like but if you haven't watched Boardwalk Empire Avin its well worth a watch one of the best mini series I've seen.

Basically the Prohibition era and based mainly on factual events and characters.

It's into season two of three now so you have hours of watching to do if you fancy it

Sorry, I've had to edit a few posts in this topic because they were linking to an illegal file-sharing website.

Are they illegal? Are they any worse than sharing streams? huh.png

DVD Flick is a perfectly legit programme also for burning cd's or dvd's. No more illegal than buying a dvd or cd disc.

As for kickass torrents ?

The areas are all grey lol.

we've also asked in the past to not share streams....

Not noticed any requests, but did notice there was no mention of either in the forum rules though.

http://www.toffeetal...embers-new-old/

Had there been, I'd have refrained from it. smile.png Telepathy isn't my strong point unfortunately.

Might I suggest rather than 'request' it, which will be hit or miss depending on who reads the request, you take steps to ensure we all know what is, and isn't expected of everybody, by adding it to the rules Matt? That's normally the place members check to see if something is permitted.

I don't think that's unreasonable to be fair mate.

Originial request came whilst you were away then, though Im pretty sure ive mentioned it in some of the match day threads this season, even offering a legal alternative.

I will update the rules though, fair point - though please try to suggest in a less patronizing and condescending tone (im sure its not intended and youre just trying to be helpful, but it comes across that way).

Matt, you can't help yourself can you?

There you go again with another personal attack.

You know, you've been a real disappointment as a moderator mate. No class at all.

There wasnt a personal attack it was a request, plain and simple. I even tried to sugar coat it.

Look mate, you're nothing to me.

Stop talking to me like you are important and above me. You're a guy on the Internet, so quit with the victimization lark and grow up. Anybody would think I was under your employment. Who do you think you are to call me a pain in the neck? I'm a father of adult children and professionally educated. How dare you talk down to me like I'm some junior school infant in your class. I asked Louis a question, not you. It's 'his' site, not yours. OK pal ?

How on earth were you picked out to moderate a forum? You're nothing but a wannabe bully.
