Not had a go at the quiz for a while, sorry.

Anyway, this one. Just a guess I am afraid as I don't have a clue really.

I think Madrid won there about 10 or 12 years ago? (It may have been Edinburgh) and I am sure there was one in the 1970's.

Before that though I don't know.

So my answer is two. (or maybe three rofl.gif )

Yes there is probably 10. But hey I don't mind looking stupid .....

I was already fairly aware of that. It was (also) the biggest attendance final in European Cup history apparently, some 127,000 or something records say, although Celtic vs Leeds in 1970 did come very close to beating that.

Alex Ferguson was in attendance that night of all things.

When did the tradition of placing the winner's ribbons on the FA Cup start?

How could anyone possibly be mislead by 'the standards of Scottish football'. mellow.png

Players often look good in Scotland who wouldn't necessarily crack it at EPL level. I'd say SPL is on par with the championship rather than EPL. Look at stokes of Celtic or weir both different cases... Weir was too old for EPL 5 years ago and Stokes was never going to crack it but they were at the top 2 teams and important players at that. In saying that Jelavic has shown there are gems out there!!!
