marcopaulo
My God, I genuinely thought we City fans were pessimists, but you lot put us to shame! Surely, SURELY you can at least sense a possible upset? There's no way it's a foregone conclusion! give us summat to be positive about and we wouldn't be such miserable twats
rubecula
give us summat to be positive about and we wouldn't be such miserable twats I am totally positive we are going to get hammered. Does that cheer you up?
Zoo
My God, I genuinely thought we City fans were pessimists, but you lot put us to shame! I persoanlly think we will win tonight. We will come into the game with bags of confidence after the FA Cup victory over Fulham and Manchester City are having a bad spell (as BlueSky pointed out) so they are there for the taking. We may concede a goal but I can see us scoring too, I'll guess at a 2-1 win for us which would make me a very happy man, we always seem to raise our game against the big teams. Let's be optemistic - it's the only way to be.
MikeO
I am totally positive we are going to get hammered. Does that cheer you up? You were equally as positive we were going to get hammered by Fulham . 2-1 to the good guys....Lescott og clinches it after 89 minutes when he momentarily forgets who he's playing for . rubecula
Thanks Mike but if I get too positive then we really will get hammered I have my reputation to think of Anyway Paul Merson is fairly positive (if you value his opinion that is.) http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,25212,15205_7465895,00.html

rubecula
Mancini just came on SSN and complimented Everton as being a good team with a good manager. We are going to get stuffed arn't we?

Bailey
I think if we show the fight we did againt Fulham, then we at least give ourselves a chance but we need to compete for every ball to even have a sniff. This could be our season defining game. We could show the true Everton battling qualities and get something from the game or we could cave in like a bunch of pussies and get routed. We can win this, although Im not sure Moyes thinks the same.
rubecula
I am not so sure Moyes thinks we can win wholeheartedly to be fair but he wouldn't say that would he? If he did he would be out of the door faster than a wet fart.
pete0
http://fourfourtwo.c...s-in-gabon.aspx 1) If only this was true, so they'd be no doubt about Duffy playing 2) Why would some one waste their time typing and photoshopping this is beyond me Edited January 31, 2012 by pete0

Good that Denis is starting (like there was a choice) but for Gods sake, Duffy and Heits have worked well together. IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT! adziom
Fucks sake Moyes...... Oh well at least Drenthe and Stracqu are starting. Drenthe deserves a start to prove himself in my opinion, although with Richards getting forward from Right back he'll have to be on the ball tracking back. rubecula
Moyes knows what he is doing. You fill the opposition with optimism before pouncing on them and making them fall apart. (Geez I am not even convincing myself here.)

GoodisonRoad
so we have our tallest centre back in Heitinga at 5ft 11 marking Dzeko, standing at 6ft 4..... What a Tactical Genius Moyes is... gotta laugh or i may cry.

Guest rusty747
Doh! Posted the team without checking previous posters had beaten me to it. Not happy with Duffy being dropped. His height would have been useful at both ends of the pitch. Edited January 31, 2012 by rusty747
Bailey
Un-fucking-believable... Another perfect example for the favourite argument. I honestly can't believe he has done that, gutted for Duffy. My interest and optimism for this game has disappeared completely.
rubecula
Keep the faith guys I am the official pessimist here, don't do me out of a job. pete0
City look very vulnerable on their right Baines and Drenthe should have a field day against Richards and Silva/Nasri, Milner will constantly be dragged wide and leave some space for us to exploit
Paul 1300
Nah Everton will be at home and will turn City over wheres that city fan that comes on here I wan't to give him some abuse
