Went for Pienaar, thought he played really well today

Went with Baines. Back to his attacking best. could have gone to Pienaar too though. Osman and Jelavic good too.

Pienaar for me. Excellent all afternoon and scored a blinder!

Tough choice and it was between Osman, Pienaar and Baines for me although I just went for the former. He bossed the midfield alongside Gibson and he used the ball brilliantly and made the effort to get into the box when the chance was there.

Gibson for me. But was close between him and Pienaar.

Went for Baines, kept creating chance after chance. Nice footwork from him all game, crosses were a dream and the runs off the ball, spot on. Ossie, Piennar and Gibson, honourable mentions.

Osman. The man should have had an England cap. Class act, pienaar may get the plaudits for a beauty of a goal. Osman is the most under rated player in the premier league. He's like scholes without the 40 yard passes. Clever player.

Torn between Pienaar and Gibson.

 

Pienaar looked the better of the two but on the sly Gibson did His job very well and I think when He came off in the last 20 thats when we lost our shape abit and looked under the cosh.

 

I'll go with Pienaar because He was so positive going forward and had some very good runs and played some great one two footie but as said Gibson a close second.

I went with Osman, but really it could have went to almost anyone today. What we saw today was 11 for 11 we were better than Villa at every position.

Pienaar was excellent, but I think it is so apparent how much work Gibson does and how important to the balance of the team he is, that once he went off we looked a different proposition.

Gibson has done a nice job of becong an important cog in our system, but I think we were playing a different type of game. I think Moyes wanted to see how we could function as an attacking team and pick up another goal. He had recognized that the game was over, and if he wants to try new tactics that's the best time IMO.

I think when Gibson went off it became rapidly clear how important that stable pivot in midfield is to ball retention and ultimately scoring.

Went for Pieenar, but any of the team could have had the vote. Gibson is a key player for us and along with Osman really makes us tick. I would like to see Junior and Barklay given chances (from subs bench, and in the cup) as I think they could really offer quality cover for the first team.

Going to go against the grain and vote for Fellaini.

 

He scored our second goal and did well with it (even though he was helped a lot from Shay Given) and always seemed to be a threat when going forward making us look like a dominant force. Special mentions must go out to Baines, Pienaar and Gibson but for me Fellaini once again ran the show yesterday.
