Perhaps you're confusing him with Galloway? Browning had 3 starts for Everton as right back and he's not a right back. I'm not saying he's good though. I'm not saying he's good though. perhaps it was pre-season but i saw him in matches at CB. he played a ton for sunderland last year, if he was good enough we would know is my point.
