Stuie Hayllor
Spanish papers all running with it. Don't know him but Martinez was a big big fan of the Colombians so no surprise if he's made an approach for 1.
Romey 1878
Def mid, Colombian. Another defensive midfielder... Not really sure why? It's not like he's one for the future either, he's 28.

Hafnia
A few people picked him out as a bit of a beast on Twitter. At 2m euros that is cheap for a solid international. We need numbers.

We do, but another defensive midfielder? Just seems like a signing for signing's sake.
Bailey
I was impressed with him actually, sat in between the CB'S and broke play up well. He was at fault for falling asleep for Brazils goal but he was pretty good for the rest of the game.
Romey 1878
28 isn't old and 2 million is nothing for a international player we paid that for a loan. I didn't say he was old. What I meant was that I could understand getting another DM in for a pittance if it was done with the future in mind.
Makis
O'Keeffe again pissing on the fire and saying there is no deal on the pipeline for this guy.
MC11
Apparently can play at centre half as well. Looks like a squad filler at best.
JoeQuince
Carlos "La Roca" Sanchez sounds a better buy than Jack "El Herido" Rodwell. That's all I will say. Toffee_in_LA
gethinO
O'Keeffe dismissing again. Swear to god that man loves to dismiss our transfer rumours.

markjazzbassist
We do, but another defensive midfielder? Just seems like a signing for signing's sake. we have barry, mccarthy that's it. i don't count gibson, he's always injured. osman is more attacking when Roberto lines him up. so we need a solid person to rotate with gazza and james. evilweevil666
I like this player, breaks up play really well. It's not anything special, but he gets the job done incredibly consistently and that's what you want from a squad player.
Louis
This was published 10 minutes ago: http://www.abcdeportes.com/futbol-futbol-internacional-liga-bbva-premier-league-futbol/noticias/carlos-sanchez-muy-cerca-del-everton-4574 It says that media have reported it as a done deal but it's still to be confirmed by player and agent. bluenosetoffee
Carlos Sanchez can play as a CB as well. Maybe Martinez is going to sign him on the cheap for backup as last year we had injuries to both Jags/Distin and it left a burden on Stones and Alcaraz to do the job. Alcaraz looked a bit shaky at times and maybe Martinez knows we need to strengthen that area.
