StevO Posted August 22, 2014 Report Share Posted August 22, 2014 just one last thought on this subject the likes of arsenal and spurs and a lot of top European clubs have been after a decent keeper over the last few years we have never received one offer for ours that says a lot weather we would accept it or not is irreverent nobody wants our alleged top 5 in the premier keeper. I'm assuming you are a member of the Everton board or player administration staff to have such knowledge of what bids have been made. The trouble here is that I'm not talking to a grown up. You're trolling son, it's as plain and simple as that and you've been outed already. Please go and hone your skills elsewhere and come back in say 12 months and try again. Not jus for the one record breaking match either. He had a solid season for us too. Yes he made a few mistakes but so did every single player in world football... Not just goalkeepers. The problem is goalkeepers are under constant spotlight so their mistakes are are amplified. But Howard doesn't haveany howlers and like said above.... Criticism is fine but then accept people sticking up for him too. Yes, he should've pounced on that ball in but then again, it should never have got there. As already pointed out, the defense needs sorting way before the goalkeeper. I'd take Davies but I think we are going to have to go with what we've got this year.
