Koomy wants "more pace" in the side, apparently. £6.8m bid made by West Ham, allegedly. 8 goals/8 assists in the league last year. Romey 1878
Are we determined to have no team during the ACON so we can call off our fixtures? efc1111
Matt
I know YouTube can make anyone look good, but that is one hell of a left foot. Good striking, determined running, he can cross... It'd be interested to know how he does for the rest of the games these highlights were taken from, looks like another Mirallas.

Paddock
Hmm, if this is true and we also sign Bolasie then that's 4 wingers on the books (I'm not counting Mcgeady) he really is looking to make us a lot stronger if this is true. JoeQuince
For the amount, I'd like to take a chance on him. I don't know how we've "moved into pole position" for his signature, though. It's all conjecture at this point. This guy's left foot! Matt Tiger
Actually 5. Lennon Gerry Mirallas Bolasie Algerian lad Like this 5, actually.. Know that Lennon, Bolasie and this Ghezzal guy are straightforward wingers.. Could perhaps find some flexibility with Gerry / Mirallas in the middle? Hoof_It_Nev
he can cross... Only with his left foot it seems. Anyone know why he's playing on the right wing as a left footer? Id be concerned he'd be found out like Gerry, cuts inside 99% of the time. Great left peg though!
JoeQuince
According to Lyon, we made "a very attractive offer" for him. http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/lyon-president-aulas-everton-made-very-attractive-rachid-ghezzal-offer-4142374?platform=hootsuite Edited August 15, 2016 by JoeQuince
markjazzbassist
can play across the whole front line, but prefers RW. maybe koeman does see Gerry as a Forward and this is his RW replacement.
Matt Tiger
can play across the whole front line, but prefers RW. maybe koeman does see Gerry as a Forward and this is his RW replacement. Could make sense... Maybe a 4-4-1-1 of sorts with Gerry playing centrally behind Rom and Ross moving a bit deeper?
JoeQuince
Could make sense... Maybe a 4-4-1-1 of sorts with Gerry playing centrally behind Rom and Ross moving a bit deeper? I think one of the key things Koeman wants in players is positional flexibility. He clearly likes to be flexible with his tactics and have his front line rotate around as well. So, rather than focusing on how a player fits into one particular formation, we should probably be considering how adaptable they are to different roles. If this is a player who can move around in a front three or four and who has a diverse skill set (it looks like he is that kind of player), then he's somebody we might really want to have around the squad, pushing all of our forward players for a spot in the XI. markjazzbassist and Romey 1878

Spot on. We know koeman has been promised a lot of dough in the transfer market or he wouldn't have come. So far we haven't spent a penny of our own. Get this lad in and then the lad from twente. Kone next and then a fast number nine. We would be a proper counter attacking team. All that's left is a keeper markjazzbassist
