Well not weird as it suits them well but it shows they have something about them and if they do find away to start unpicking packed defences they could start being a problem again. It wouldn't be so bad if the ref had sent him off and then VAR had just upheld the decision (even though it was wrong). But the ref got it spot on and then VAR then made him go back on himself. The system that is supposed to lessen mistakes actually created a new one! That is total incompetence and the ref on VAR and the assistant VAR (fucking hell) should face consequences.
