The general expectations of the team are so low right now but he clearly made a difference. He played forward, moved the ball quicker than anyone else. I had to google what a through ball was as well because it’s been that long since I’ve seen one. I was bashing on Gana a bit during the game because his performance infuriated me however if Davies had started over him, we could have played so much better. FairWooney Posted January 22, 2023 Report Share Posted January 22, 2023 Iwobi seemed to carry most of our threat in the second half and beat their full back a few times. My issue with him is just how one footed he is. Limits his play when on the wing to taking on the defender, making space for cross or turning back on himself. He didn't seem to take the cross option much. Mina did OK and got forward well second half but it showed towards the end as it lookes like he was running through treacle tracking back.
