StevO
Remember that type of car would be ordered months in advance aswell this story started in the summer. it would probably take about 6 months waiting with a custom colour scheme as well. means nothin. please do not get bernard

Adam
Love the bit about 5.6m for Barton if the move for BUTT fulls through. Nice to know we setting our standards high. Butt first then Barton. Building for the future Can't see any of those happening. Isn't Reo meant to decide today what he is going to do. Am sure he will go to spurs and we will end up with Davids for the remainder of the season.

aaron
^^^ if he gets over his injury problems i feel the same, was a excellent player for spurs last season but injury has kept him out, in the mirror yesterday it said reo wants to leave so i hope DM puts a bid in for him, west ham signed quashie yesterday so maybe curbs knows NRC is on his way, hopefully our way... Romey 1878
I don't want Davids he's over the hill, we want young and hungry players here.
aaron
yer i do agree mark but if we got davids on loan for the rest of the season he provides cover, hes better than carsley and his experiance could help the younger lads in our squad. Romey 1878
If he's that good with youngsters then you'd think Spurs would keep him seems they are full of young players. I hope this is just another dodgy rumour.

Philinsuffolk
Been a few months since I wrote anything on here, realities of parenthood kicking in! Edgar Davids - the wages would be too high. How do we keep the likes of Cahill, Arteta and Lescott content when someone comes in and gets much monre money than them? Lets be honest, the game is all about money now and as such their morale will dip. It's not like he has done much for Spurs. Would be great to see the likes of Reo-Coker come. Personally though I'd still prefer to see a good quality left sided midfielder come in.

Sickboy
IMO our money would be better spent getting kevin nolan. I think he would be a fantastic player for us & would slot into carsley place really well allowing arteta & cahill more freedom.

RuffRob
Sounds very much like Bastian Geiger will be coming in this week for around £600,000. At 22 is his club captain, and sound as if he could be a promising youngster. Can play right across the back, but the right back position is his best. Although, don't know a thing about him, for that sort of money could well be a good buy. No great huge loss if he doesn't cut the mustard, but possibley the potential to be a bargain. Bill
Because they wont have a match the next cup w/end, Everton have arranged a friendly against his team so they can have a closer look at him ..........the deal may come off, or it may not. johnno
Just to ease any anxieties, there is more chance of David Beckham coming to Goodison Park in the next few weeks than Lescott heading to the Santiago Bernabeu. Let's keep that one in mind, eh? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/6248835.stm
