john_webby Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 alright gents been away for a few days and lots of really strange things have happened well what happened while having a few drinks on saturday i managed to bump into a certian Everton player while talking to him i obviously i had to ask him a few questions he dropped a few hints reo coker is a possibility clint dempsy he has heard of being mentioned but the suprising 1 for me was looks like we really got a good chance of getting (drum roll please) alan smith i know these are not new to us but there the only ones he would confirm and he actually came out with smith on his own
Pat Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 Webby's been drinking wif Anderson De silva....LOL
MikeO Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 I reckon he's got pissed with VDM and then staged a burglary at his house to stop the Dutchman getting in the shite with Davie again !
RuffRob Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 To be honest, I wouldn't have thought that players know much more than average fan on the coming and goings in the tranfer market. If there is one or two players the 'management' consult regarding new player - I doubt very much they would be blabbing about it.
Pat Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 Webby & VDM. The Blind Leading the Blind .
john_webby Posted December 19, 2006 Author Report Posted December 19, 2006 to be honest i said i wouldnt say who it was but i honetly believed him in what he was saying and he never said to me that they were signing just he hezrd them mentioned
Romey 1878 Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 What harm would it do if you told us? Its not like we're going to go and camp outside his house and demand he tell us more is it?
john_webby Posted December 19, 2006 Author Report Posted December 19, 2006 to be honest that is true but i did promise so to be honest i keep my promises mate sorry

Blue Oyster Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 (edited) I heard a rumour today (from a fellow blue) that Moyse is interested in either a loan or buying Diao from the RS in January. Anyone heard of this? The lad has a lot of promise and I think that Moyse could be what the he needs to get his career going. And would be good cover for injuries Position: Midfielder Date of Birth: 10/02/1977 Height: 6'1 Weight: 12 st 9 1st team games: 59 1st team goals: 3 International caps: 39 (Senegal) International goals: 4 Former clubs: Epinal, Monaco, Sedan, Birmingham City Edited December 21, 2006 by Blue Oyster
Rob W Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 promise! hes 29..30 in 2 months, and not performed where ever he has been. Isnt he at Birmingham on loan this season..and he hasnt shone in the Champ. Definite no no I would hope
Blue Oyster Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 I just think he hasn't been played in the right places or given fair chance where hes been.
StevO Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 no thanks, he was shit when he signed for them, and hes still shit now
Blue Oyster Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 Almost as bad as Beatie. That guy is a waste of time and money imo
Romey 1878 Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 He's on loan at Stoke and he's shite, no thanks.
toolio Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 according to reports in turkey and nsno Everton are going to offer a contract to sanli tuncay in january as he will be able to move on a bosman in july, i for 1 love this fenerbache striker seen him few times in europe hes quality any thoughts, also heard we are gona make a double rain on hibs for there duo kevin thompson and scott brown, thats the reports here up in sunny scotland anyway, this is a big NOT SURE for me as i do know they are brilliant at hibs but jimmy mac was also good in scotland and hasnt really got goin in premiership, wot yous all think? have a good xmas and new year folks
Romey 1878 Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 The Tuncay rumour has laready been posted. Im not sure on the Hibs duo either, the whole Faddy thing makes me scepticle of signing players who have played well Scotland and not anywhere else.
BLUE-TAC Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 Like what i've heard of Tuncay, certainly sounds more useful than BT. In McFads defence, for what we paid I reckon we've done ok. What did we pay somefin like 1.5? Reckon we'd get 3mill if we sold him now (but i'd keep hold).
Guest fozzie Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 no thanks, he was shit when he signed for them, and hes still shit now LOL
fcssl Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 Oh lord, please god NOOOOooooooo! What is the world coming to?
GoldfishMemory Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 Please god NO! According to the Scum today Moyes is ready to waste 6million on Alan Smith Give me Joey Barton or the kid form Fulham (cant remember his name but everyone hates him) for that kind of money. Wake up Moyes, Smith is poo. Having said that it is the Scum!
RuffRob Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 http://www.manutd.com/default.sps?pagegid=...p;newsid=388887 Fair does, John. Looks like you are ahead of the game. Wouldn't be suprised if this one comes off. He is the type of sleeves up player I like, and has shown can play in the middle as well as up front - Would be a welcome addition in my books
StevO Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 ive always liked him, he seems to wind up defenders. not prolific but does his fair share of work. handy for changing formation mid game too
