If Hamilton can stay within two seconds I think he has a chance of getting him in the pit stops, he gained that much first time around with a slower stop. He fully deserves it and if Mercedes have got the car right for the new regulations I'm expecting a few race wins for him next season. Can't wait to see how he goes with a competitive car after wringing everything out of what has been a terrible car at Williams. Had a great lap in P1 that would've placed him second but deleted for track limits, no matter, the pace is there. Edit - sorry mate I’ve seen you’ve allowed for that. It will be interesting to see if Hamilton gets by Bottas easy and what pace Bottas does in second. Don’t think the race leader will break out to 1.5 seconds within the first lap like Max did last weekend. Zoo 2.0 Posted September 11, 2021 Report Share Posted September 11, 2021 Wolff has already confirmed that team orders will be used and Bottas won't be allowed to win the race, even as a Hamilton fan (and understanding the logic) that dissapoints me. I think that the pace of the Mercedes in Practice and Qualy shows that they are a cut above this weekend and they really need to make it stick as for the most part this calendar year, Red Bull have had their number most times out.
