  1. Kean stays far more central when in the attacking 3rd in comparison to DCL's movement generally. dangerous, raw, obviously exciting.

Richarlison, wow, the man continues to add to his game, serious player we have. Getting comfortable on the right wing and we have seen some fierce left footed shots.

Capabale of 20 goals this season.

  2. terrible finish.

Compare the composure and finish of Aguero's first goal against Bournemouth overnight, more bodies around him, less time to see the ball come to him and react. Yet takes a touch and places it in the corner, that's where goal scorers place there shots if they don't have the time to pick there spot.

That's the difference, that's what a goal scorer needs to do.

Going forward there's very little different. We're still not making high quality chances, and Sigurdssen is still being misused.

Agree with this. Most our chances come from crossing, but it is to relatively static attackers creating low quality chances or most of which are cleared by defenders.

It frustrates me how little movement and interchanging of positions there is in and around  the attacking penalty area for Everton. This was clear to see last year, and I haven't seen much improvement in the first 2 games.

How often do you see an Everton player making a dummy run to create space for another player in and around the penalty area. Maybe I'm missing it, but I feel that we are static and predictable in most attacks if the opposition isn't chasing the game.

  4. Pickford

    Digne

    Fighting for a spot;

    Richarlison

    Keane

    Gueye

Gomes & Bernard are close, and need to show a little more in there second season in the premier league.

Sigurdsson is a funny one, has the technical ability, but seems to play more as a second striker for Everton rather than #10, would love to see him get involved and influence the play as much as Erikson.

  5. Brazil 3 - 0 Bolivia

Richarlison started on the right of a front 3.

Earned Brazil a penalty (handball from his pass) for the first that Coutinho converted.

Played the ball into the penalty area for Firmino to cross to Coutinho to head into an open net for the 2nd.

Taken off in the 82 min for Willian.

Good performance overall from him. Happy days, continues to improve as a player.

  6. Sounds like he should be working on his left foot then

Silva was saying he wants a left footed winer when asked about him, didnt he?

Could see him moving away. It's a shame when clubs like Bayern are interested in him, the lads clearly got quality. We would probably be better off getting rid of Theo and taking the risk on this Henry, as long as we can get a work permit.

His job is to help the team win, he never contributed enough to winning. He's only got 6 assists, which might be top at our club but compared to the rest of the league it's not good enough. 37 players in the league got more assists than him. Every club in the league bar Huddersfield, Brighton, Soton and Cardiff have a player more creative.

That said I don't blame the player. In general the whole team don't create enough and that's on the manager for not playing to his strengths or the squads in general. At Swansea a relegation battling side Sigurdssen managed 26 assists across 3 seasons, yet for us he's got 9 in two seasons.

    Fake news

20 players got more assists than Gylfi’s 6.

Only 6 of those 20 were from clubs that finished lower on the table than Everton.
