They were happy beating three average sides with long ball bullish tactics only to be beaten convincingly by top four sides whilst hoofing itup and defending for 90 minutes... This way we can go into these games knowing we can easy match them. Am looking at the bigger picture.

yes but alot of his goals were off the bench.... I think vic will never make it to the levels we want him to. He doesnt give enough in a game. He is a trier but we need some sheer class up front and he's not the answer. He's another Kenwyn Jones, Carlton Cole, Shaun Goater, Shola Ameobi, Eubanks Blake.... He will just trail away, and his attitude stinks. He sounds like he's just left school in some of his interviews.... Very immature on and off the pitch... He thinks trying 100% guarantees you a starting place when you need a good percentage of raw talent.

Couldnt agree more.... i really hope the minority who wish for the return of long ball get sounded out.... We've got a chance with RM here for some perminent positive change and to regain our 'school of science' tag again... Please (some) people, dont ruin this with your impatience!

I have just read RM interview and it's just hit me... (Open play) that's the biggest plus to the game today. Two goals from open play. I don't know how many times we hammered teams early last season under moyes only to find the goals from set plays cause we weren't inventive enough on the field.
