the only thing i dont get is RM said he would only be signing players with the right attitudes and stressed this. then he goes and signs someone who disrupted a club and had major ego fits by all accounts.

We have played one through ball behind the centre halves all season. This was against Newcastle when lukaku threaded in Barkley. This amazes me that we don't practice this more on the training pitch. Why is it that we have to play the ball wide constantly? We become too predictable sometimes.

prefer martinez. notbing against moyes but i havnt felt this excited about watching everton since the fa cup game against spurs under the royle.
people say we where playing this football under moyes and we probably were, but not for 38 games. only games he thought and we thought were easily winnable games.

i dont think its a case of more ooen play. i think its all phsycological. by the way we play now, we go into big games with an optimistic outlook on the game. if we get beat but have played open and attractive footb
all, then its much improved from getting an early goal and shutting up shop for 80 minutes hoofing it back for them to come straight back at us again.
we have always underestimated our own play. there is 22 professional footballers on that field, not eleven. we ate just showing now, by playing the correct way, what we have in our bag. we have given top four sides far too much respect up until now.martinez takes on another team, not a top four team. he may change tactics but doesnt change style.
