Just out of interest....league table of calendar year so far...
ManU Played 11...26 points.
Arsenal.....12...26.
Everton.....11...23.
Chelsea.....10...20.
Spurs.......10...18.
City........10...18.
Liverpool...11...18.
Villa.......11...15.
No doubt who the "big four" of 2010 are .
Sat watching Eddie Izzard: Marathon man. Stunning achievement....but I mention it because they've just shown him running along the County Road, past Winslow Street and you can see Goodison in the background .
Be huge if we could win it...would put us within three points of Liverpool and five of City and maybe closer to Villa if they stumble again against Sunderland.
If only Felli were around to give us a repeat of his Goodison performance .
Draw wouldn't be the end of the world I suppose.
Lescott injured in the warm-up today and won't play http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/2010/March/Lescott-ruled-out-of-Everton-clash.
Not seen it yet but it sounds like it may have been harsh; having said that it also seems that Mascherano was fortunate not to get red so the luck maybe evened out there.
It's not just that that's got them wound up, they're convinced Webb cheated them at every turn (and that Sky hate them) and that's why they lost. Nothing at all to do with the fact that they had only two efforts on target in 97 minutes.
Rawk is hilarious...
Couple of example of why they lost...
"I thought Webb would be corrupt. I thought he would be laughable. But not in a million years could I believe that any referee on Earth could get away with this. Firstly he should be not allowed to disgrace the country in the World Cup and secondly he should be sacked in the morning. People pay good money to watch games and idiots like this ruin the game."
"What is the fucking point anymore?
Its corrupt
Webb's in on it, Commentary is in on it, Sky is in on it.....
tell me that was 97 minutes of honest fair Refereeing?
No replays when there was fouls on Liverpool players.......
Neville kicking Maxi in the head.......... Not even a foul............
Can we start playing some football please? Can't watch something that's corrupt..."
And we're bitter ?
Rafa...
"It was a very difficult game - at least we showed that we are strong, we can score goals in any stadium, we can beat anybody we can play well."
Really ?
Their chances of fourth are looking very remote now. Only seven games left, four points behind Spurs having played a game more; they'll be two points behind City having played two games more if City hold out for the win at Fulham.
Sunderland (just getting back to form) up next for them, Birmingham away after that.
Looking desperate .

Twenty-six points from the last twelve games. Averaging that over a whole season would be worth eighty-two points. If we stay at that level for the rest of this we'll finish on sixty-two! Might just be enough .
I love Mikel Arteta :wub_anim: .
Excellent reaction from DM as well....virtually no celebration, like he knew it was going in (just like the days when Sheeds lined one up ).
I knew it was going in as well...but to be fair that's because of the delay on the stream....they reported the goal on "Final Score" before Mikky took it on my laptop .
