Actually manage to get a decent stream on Twitter but only caught the last 10 minutes of the first half and it looked like we were getting absolutely battered , have we been this shite all half?
we should be up at least 1 goal, kean had a goal wrongly called offside, he was onside and VAR would have given us the goal. sadly no VAR in league cup. other than that it's been back and forth, we had a good spell and kean and niels and townsend each had some clear attempts but 2 were missed and kean's was blocked by their keeper. one of their players had a chance begovic blocked and then it fell back to him and he skied it, so it could go either way really.

3 games, 3 opportunities to keep banging the drum of "we need a proper center half"
neither of them are our best CB, not sure why they would be indicative of that. a godfrey mina pairing going to shit would aid you cause, but not this

keane and holgate miss, they score

Great save begovic

I wonder if their is a buy option for them

3 center backs against a lower league side? Shouldn’t we be on the offensive here?

The plan of not winning this cup to finish in the top 4 doesn't seem to be working either!
Great point as that is usually their counter argument

they don't trust the government vaccine, but will take livestock medication due to misinformation online. and people think i'm being harsh when i say most americans are just stupid. mississippi doing their best to prove me right here.

The shite rumoured to be after him now.
Yep just came on to say that as well. Rumor doesn’t make sense, guy wouldn’t get much playing time there and would be blocked from the first team . Probably Gerard just being a dick.

Also there's been a lot of doom and gloom on here recently and I'd just like to say cheer up...at least we're not Arsenal. That is a dumpster fire of truly epic proportion.
They must have the worst physio and training staff, I swear every year it seems half their team is injured. It’s been like that since the wenger days too.

Not me, so I'm expecting a good result.
yeah there was no judgement from me there, just thought it would add to the intrigue in a way. something to think about.

Begovic
Kenny Branthwaite Holgate Niels
Gbamin Davies
Townsend Iwobi Gordon
Kean
easiest way for Rafa to win over skeptical fans (like me) is win a trophy (guaranteed Europe as well). I hope he is able to do so and bring the silverware to goodison

3 games in a week here Hopefully we have enough fuel to get a result. Brighton won their last match, and we get to face Graham potter a guy who many on here wanted to be our next manager.
Pickford
coleman godfrey mina digne
Doucoure allan
James Gray
DCL Richarlison

FIFA relaxed FFP due to covid and wr aren’t gonna be in Europe anyways so I’m confused as to why we need to balance the books. We should be spending and bringing in quality. We still have no RB to replace Coleman. If we don’t get one that will be a massive miss.

Do you always schedule something during an Everton match ?
matches in the US are Saturday morning or afternoons which we are usually doing something because it’s the weekend. If they were at night (like they are for you) it would be a lot easier. the charity work we did this morning was great for my kids to see that giving back is and should be an important part of their life. Family always is my priority, I try and watch the matches when I can.

Just got back from the charity event and I saw the result. Gray looks to be the signing of the season already, 2m and he’s proving to be worth more than that.
