Burnley aren’t causing us problems, we are causing our own problems here.

Young is absolutely shite

Some good passing play here. All of which has involved Gomes.

I feel so fucking nervous for this today.
I'll be getting to my seat early as requested from the 1878s and doing my bit for the team all game long.
Come on you fucking blues!
Yeah I feel this way, it’s a 1am kick off so I don’t think I’ll sleep, probably just get hammered actually!
Missus is on night shift so at least she won’t have to watch me mentally break down in the lead up.

I laughed and then considered crying when this actually happened yesterday.
Oh mate I had this dumb look of disbelief when I saw Godfrey & Young together on the right hand side.

I was very disappointed to see him go off.
I don't think he was brilliant but he was far from deserving to be substituted.
Agree.
I do see what you are seeing to an extent Haf, my issue with Onana is on the occasion when he is trotting back to defend a counter attack. This guy seriously could run a midfield on his own.
My opinion, in the first 15 or so minutes, he seemed like the only player in our team having a go.

Multiple top top saves that are almost considered routine for him now.

Just listened to Ped on toffeetv talking about Onana like people don't understand football. "Go look at his numbers".
I did..... they reek of a player who is coasting. Lost most of his duels, lost possession 5 times. The one I noticed was shocking, tried a stupid short pass outside our area and nearly got punished.
he plays like he's a veteran who just wants to sit back and play tidy passes..... we're in the shit amadou and we need you to actually put some towards in.
garner and Gomes looked like they were giving us a bit more
To be fair that short pass he gave away, he was given a hot pass in a tight area. I think Onana looked the most likely at the start to try and dominate the game. If we can get him going at his best, a midfield of Onana, Garner & Gomes could really dominate. I hope we start with those 3 against Burnley. If we are chasing a result, throw Doucoure on for the chaos balls in to the box because he has a real knack for a chance falling to him.

Hope so mate, starting with a midfield of Onana, Gana, and Doucoure meant we never going to be in control of the game. Gomes and Garner gave us so much more creativity and time with the ball, the difference was like night and day.
It’s just too many players who lack real technical ability on the ball. Onana is best of them and a midfield with him, Gomes & Garner could move the ball nicely but Gana showed up today defensively. We just need players to start doing it consistently.

Fuckin McNeil at the end there. Simply tap it forward for yourself to run onto...ballsed it right up.
Anyway. A point.
It was a gutsy performance in the end.
Nothing to sing n dance about. But there was some fight, at least.
Take it game by game, limp over the line.
To be fair to him, he ran himself in to the ground tonight.
All I’ll say, is we looked a lot more like an actual football team when Gomes & Garner came in to midfield.
Gana had some loose moments on the ball as per usual but he buzzed around. Onana had some decent moments on the ball but strolled around.
We deserved the point from that, much better performance from the squad & credit Dyche for the triple change.

Massive from Myko that.
Pickford’s kicking suspect again.

Unlucky, we’ve looked so much better after the changes. Let’s go lads

Glad the subs are coming, but it's so out of character for Dyche, shows he's clutching at straws.
Might start playing players in their actually positions next

If that is not a wake up call I don’t know what is.
