Excellent point.  Genoa sign him on a free then sell him to Everton for £1.

would that allow us to make a huge asset on the books?

    It’s very shady.

Hopefully we can have some sort of arrangement with Genoa, would be a good avenue for us with loans in or out. I’m not going suggest that would could loan our fringe players to them as I feel it’s the other way round at the moment.

We are in a right mess now even worse than last season we need the team to turn it around big time.
I’m not sure we can do it.

We all need to dig deep. Feels like it’s constantly coming back to the fans to lift the players for that final push.

Whatever happens though, this rot needs to stop.

I am genuinely terrified for the run of games against relegation rivals. If there is ever a time for us to go on a run on 3/4 results it’s now.

Spurs don't need to blink, if we re-sign him then we owe them.

It’s a dirty move but I have no doubt it’s something the top 6 would do but 777 own Genoa. Say Genoa sign him on a 2 yr deal & then loaned him to us for 2 years, we would be exempt to pay the 10 mil. Probably never do a deal with spurs again though.

I had to laugh at Dyche throwing the lad to the wolves tonight and then him being saved from it by picking up an injury.

Then I grimaced at the thought that it probably means we'll be watching Godfrey and Young renew their partnership at the weekend.

Same. Nothing to lose now so I’ll give the lad some minutes.

Hope it’s not a serious injury though.

Needs to work harder...all of them...

    Limp through.

We need to show more fight than Forrest & Luton.

After a 6nil drubbing and Forrest at home next, 3 home games on the bounce, they really now need to shake this off, and any self pity, distraction around points taken off and all that, and fight fuckin hard!

    The absolute minimum required.

Dyche needs to tear this lot to shreds for that.

Well...we do need to do a talent search in order to sack the manager because...well I don't think I need to spell it out

We don’t, I think the guys are simply saying they feel this is the last straw for Dyche & they feel Thewell should have a replacement lined up. It’s not really up to them to identify a replacement?

    6-0 eh.

Nows not the time to argue over who's this, who's that.

This team needs every single fan behind them...as painful as that is...to help them limp over the line.

We shouldn't be losing 6-0 to anyone. Let alone an 'average' Chelsea.

Fuck all is going to change in terms of tactics and players so we are just gonna have to rally and hope 🙏

The only thing Dyche can do is rip that team. If he starts the next game with the likes of Young, Doucoure, Coleman & Onana it shows he is actually okay with that performance. Beto was honking but the lad was at least honest.

Our problem is our players who have a slither of talent don’t seem to care so much & our players who are yard dogs (of which there is a few) do care.

The least the team can do is apologise to the supporters that travelled down tonight.

I wonder if they will feel anything getting their paycheck this week. 130K for Doucs, well earned….

The 3 that went off were worse than young, and that's saying something.

Good luck to any centre mid playing with Young wide, doucs in front & Beto up top. No technical ability amongst the 3 & limited pace. No excuses for Onana & Garner but until we shift Young & Doucoure we will never play passing football.

  10. 6-0 & no idea where to go from this.

I think this is turning point for me on Dyche but I’m not sure if it’s knee jerk reaction.

Our squad is shit but we’ve shown patches in the season that we can be competitive but the trend is very much downwards.

Any manager is going to struggle to get this team playing fluid football but I doubt most managers will continually send a washed 38 yr old as a winger & expect results.

I’m absolutely guttered by this display, this is in no shape the Everton I envision. I can accept some lack of quality as long as it’s replaced by fight, passion & heart - which Dyche should be able in install but it’s clearly lacking.

I will give the lads credit for this second half. Even when five down were attacking. We’ve also controlled the ball much better second half.

Could have been a record smashing here, but thankfully they have tried second half.

I suppose this is where our standards are now
